Anyone else feel like they have been out in the sun, when they have been inside most of the day? Something ain't right, something evil blows this way.... Quoting: Hawk-02 Never remember winds like this, somethings up? Was a crazy winter, and a weird spring. Polar vortex? Who ever heard of that shit.. I think we might be in for a pole shift. It's the Ice Age that we are in for. I'm waiting to see when they finally make this public knowledge. The Sun started taking a nap just as it was supposed to be at maximum solar storms. The questions are how deep will the Sun sleep and for how long. The cold will last between 60 years or 90,000 years. If its the big Daddy Ice Age 90k folks. Google Ice Age 2014. |

It still kicks up dust and makes small dust devils on open surfaces. If any foreign minister begins to defend to the death a "peace conference," you can be sure his government has already placed its orders for new battleships and aeroplanes. |

All data points to the sun as the primary source of short-term and long term climate change on Earth. While volcanic eruptions such as the current one in Iceland can affect short-term weather conditions over a region, planetary climate is governed by solar activity-or lack of it. The winds definitely suck and I get a weird burning sensation with the wind when exposed for extended periods. Also kind of felt like my blood vessels were constricting. I am in NJ, but only lived up here since August. Used to live in Florida. So, I can't really say if anything is out of the norm. -Why are you wearing that stupid man suit? :armouredkitten: |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 57286535 United Kingdom 04/24/2014 03:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Lol...I can't believe you guys are laughing when someone mentioned Windburn... Guys ,it has been here since the beginning of time...Windburn is in fact, a legitimate ailment, just like sunburn, you get the same symptoms! Nothing to see here - Move along... Info from wisegeek: Windburn is a condition caused by exposure to strong and frequently cold winds for extended periods of time. Wind can remove the oils from the top oil layers of skin, creating chapped dry skin that feels hot or burned, and may appear red or swollen. Windburn can be confused with sunburn, and people may attribute “burned” skin on overcast days to wind rather than to sun. In fact overcast days are still likely to cause sunburn, particularly if you are up on the tops of mountains where your exposure to sun is greatest. Both windburn and sunburn should be avoided when possible, though windburn tends to produce far less long term damage to the skin. To prevent windburn, you should wear sunscreen, but emphasis should really be on covering exposed areas of the face. Sunscreen won’t really protect you much from windburn, but should still be used to avoid sunburn. To get full protection, wearing sunglasses or preferably goggles can help keep the wind from irritating the skin around the eyes. These should have UVA and UVB protection. Also, it can help to wear items like ski masks, which will cover most of the skin, leaving very little exposed to the wind. Hands should be gloved as these can can be affected by windburn too. |

And even now that it is getting warmer the temps can be 74 degrees but the wind makes you feel chilled to the bone. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 2268641 Canada 04/24/2014 03:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's called weather. Weather changes. Climates get modified. Seasons start and end sooner or later than they used to. Things change, then they return to normal for a while, then they change again. It's part of the cycle that's been going on for thousands of years, who cares. We get older and weather affects some people in a negative way. Things change, we change - deal with it, it'll pass. |
