Quoting: 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 just wondering. Thread: Prepping is about to become law!!!! Pin This!!! Destroy what? And yes. uh, no. Unless it's MASSIVE and generates one hell of an explosion but that would be more like an asteroid then a meteor. |

But it would have to be big to do any serious damage... Also, depends on whether it explodes in air or impacts the ground/ocean... That's called a game changer... If predictions hold true, Earth will pass through multiple tendrils of dust and pebbly bits left behind by comet 209P/LINEAR, firing up a celestial display on par with the strongest showers of the year. Or better. Quoting: Go2.0 Read more: [link to www.universetoday.com] Pinned because this ties into the Betelgeuse star set to go supernova by May 27th at the earliest. Thank you for posting. ZHR is an idealized number based on the shower radiant located at the zenith under ideal skies. The actual number is lower depending on how far the radiant is removed from the zenith and how much light pollution or moonlight is present." Last Edited by Dace on 04/29/2014 02:54 PM |

Other researchers predict rates between 200 and 40o per hour. Quoting: Go2.0 Read more: [link to www.universetoday.com] This is definitely looking like it will be an impressive show! These grazers will be much slower then normal, if there is a "normal". I am going to watch it for sure. Might even suggest to go take a road trip to a dark region....highway rest stop in the middle of no where works. |
