Ammo Shortages Blamed on Administration's Gun Agenda

The Obama administration's gun-control positions have been the driving force behind the nation's ammunition shortages and the primary reason why the .22-caliber bullet is still a scarcity, critics charge.

"There is no doubt that the president's anti-gun agenda has driven the sale of guns and ammunition through the roof," Erich Pratt, spokesman for Gun Owners of America, told Newsmax. "President Barack Obama can truly be known as the gun salesman of the decade." ...

The article states that it is the threat that Soetoro presents to the 2nd Amendment that is pushing crisis buying.

I have enough .22 to last for 20 years. Some of it I paid way too much for but at least I have it.

My female friend just bought a S&W .22 and I found a brick of Remington Thunderbolt at Cabela's for her for $23. The problem is they only let you have one brick but there may not have been any if there wasn't a limit.

I know this link has been posted before but maybe some didn't see it

Don't underestimate the damage 22lr can do. Anyone can shoot 22lr, even young children and it's a very common training round because it's affordable and available (or used to be). It can be effectively silenced with suppressors, almost all 223/556 ARs can be converted to shoot it, etc. If SHTF, it would work great for taking out cameras and tires, suppressive fire (20 people lined up shooting 30 round mags of 22lr is one hell of a cover fire), etc. Also can be deadly by itself. 22lr ain't pellet gun ammo!

Now, would you like to ask your question again?
