God did not make robots... He wants us to have free will... and so end times inevitable... I'm a Christian (not a very good one) and that response was embarrassing. "Magic" wasn't used. They understood how to harness the Earth's energy to levitate the stones. No need to transport anything with the Sphynx close by. They took stone from around the base of the Sphynx. That's the stupidest explanation I've ever heard. This doesn't account for how the blocks were lifted and stacked andI'm sure in a vast desert there was tons of water available to do that. Rofl A few decades ago an archaeologist visiting Sicily watched three 60+ yr old men move a 1 tonne block up a hill with MUD. Water+SAND makes slippery surface. Kinda obvious then too! Some desert soils, esp. those clay soils high in sodium are strong, self-flattening and slick as snot when wet. They are made up of tiny plates that slip easily over each other. A few decades ago,........lol, a bird told me, I believes. |
