They do not prescribe HC for a sleep aide. If you are taking it to go to sleep then you are abusing it. HC causes shallow breathing. You are a moron to take it as a sleeping aide.

Sounds weird but you should slap your shingle spots before you lay on them. The pain from slapping the spots before you lay down will create a pain thresh hold for when you are actually laying down.

Okay I have never taken it, so don't give me shit. I told my gp that I'm in pain and can't sleep at night.

Say i got burnt on the finger from matches or cooking. I am NOT going to run it under cold water because once I take my finger from the cold water it will start to burn again. I would, instead, run my finger under hot water to cause more pain. Now that the hot water made my burn burn more then the burn felt when I first got it, I would no longer feel like I had a burn!

As long as you don't take it with alcohol you should be fine.

They had me take it years ago for my back pain made me sleepy all the time so I stopped taking it. However i had freaken weird as heck dreams.

Take 2 benadryls & 2 tums antacids about an hour before your hydrocodone

This does 2 things, increases the effects of the pain med & keeps your form becoming intolerant



This enables you to take lower doses & get the same effects!

I'm allergic to anything with Benadryl.

Yeah, some of these posters are a pork chop shy of a mixed platter. You need to take the HC for pain so you CAN sleep, you're not taking them to fall asleep, like some other poster suggested. Nobody can sleep well with pain, and if the HC stops working at making you drowsy then take Melatonin too.
