If you suffer anxiety, the best medicine is working out, a healthyh diet, regular sleep and facing your fears. Been through it, drugs don't help. Oh, and if you smoke weed and are getting anxiety, quit for a while. It does a world of good to give up the daily habit and make it recreational again.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55851831 I agree (except for the smoking part just because I don't smoke weed anymore so can't have an opinion there ). I have been on a combination of Lexapro and Klonopin and it doesn't help, at least for me. (I feel like I need to add a disclaimer because someone will tear me to shreds for suggesting people go off their meds, however, I am just relating personal experience). I stopped taking the anti-depressent the wrong way and had suicidal thoughts. I figured I had to go back on it so I wouldn't have those thoughts. Klonopin never fully helped with my anxiety. It took me quitting my job just so I had a moment to think for myself, and I never have found so much peace as that. (Not that I'm advocating quitting one's job but in my case that is what I needed, so I could rest, focus on healing myself with more sleep, exercise, diet, and ...the biggest one.... facing my fears and anxieties. Getting to the root of the problem instead of masking it with aforementioned prescribed drugs. I used to be so scared of the suicidal thoughts but now I have more strength. Day by day. Baby-steps for me.
