My good friend had a woman abort a baby he wanted her to keep, he offered to take it and promised he didn't want any money or anything. It really fucked him up.


Women can't have it both ways, if they want to abort without the fathers consent for non life threatening health issues, then they should not be able to ask for money from an out of wedlock pregnancy without also having a contract signed from the father stating he intended the intercourse to lead to child. That would end this whole mess.

To be honest, if you did sue for this paradox in the laws claiming, "extreme mental anguish" it would probably make it all the way to the supreme court.

Sounds like she didnt really want the kid so OP would of had to be totally responsible for caring for the child.
Maybe she didnt want stuck with child support like so many men dont.
Maybe she felt that was the best option for all of you since you wouldnt be together.Its a lot of responsibility to raise a kid 18 years and unless a man has family that will care for the kid while it works it can get very difficult and expensive especially for the newborn and toddler stages.
Sometimes as bad as it sounds that is the best option even for the child if it wont be cared for properly.
