Kid finds old food in couch and ask dad if its ok, Dad smells food than says smells fine, trailer trash at its best..

Dad even tells kid if he gets sick from eating it to tell daddy and he will give kid Tylenol..

You just can't make this shit up, only in trailer trash ville does this happen..

I have seen so much worse. At least his place looked minimally picked up.

When my kids were little, I had a couch (actually a piece of outdoor furniture), a card table given to me that had no chairs, and a minimal bed for each of us. Most times, I spread a big vinyl tablecloth on the kitchen floor for mealtime, wiped it down after each meal and washed it as needed. It was clean and safe, but poor is poor and has to make do.

My neighbor had more furniture, but her place was always filthy (she was on drugs) and her daughter always came to my house to clean up and get a snack, usually something out of my garden. I don't think that child would have ever bathed or eaten anything that didn't come out of a bag otherwise. That's not poor, that's slovenly and neglectful.

And yeah, I've seen kids pull old chips and cookies and stuff out of furniture and eat it. They did not ask, they just did it and their parents would not have known had I not reported it (kids are too fast to stop sometimes). The fact the kid in the vid asked if it was OK indicates that it has learned at least a little bit.

My mom used to get us tuna helper when I was a kid. Worst. dinner. EVAR.

Yes as kids we did eat most anything that hit the floor, but as a parent to tell a young child that its OK to eat what ever rotten food you find is not the right thing to do or teach, next time the kid finds pills or poison the kid won't know any better..

Gads to the people here defending this toothless hillbilly telling his child to eat it and if he gets sick than he will give him pills is about as lame as VonHillbilly himself..
