The 'New Ager' has no more proof to back up their 'doctrine' than any other religion.

They have their same 'disciples' or prophets from which they glean inspiration , but it's based on what can't be proven....


so they quite literally cannot criticize any other believer for their beliefs, because the Mode of Operendi is the same.

It's not about beliefs or believing. It's about seeing - the universe as it is - without beliefs, without filters.

Religions are all You about accepting the belief system They have.

Forget beliefs. See for yourself!

What are your beliefs, i.e.those things we think are true, we would like them to be true... but we're not really sure. Why are they there? Who gave them to you? Why do you believe them to be true. Suspend beliefs, and See!!

I know many who do. Others have posted on this thread, but you don't accept what we say. In effect, you are calling us liars. You didn't ask if what we believe is true or not. You asked if those who believe we are ascending are sane, and the answer to that is a resounding yes, no matter how much you deny it.

It's funny how everyone is classified into groups. And even funnier how they attack anyone who is not in their group.

All these "beliefs"(that's what they all are) stem from man's inability to deal with his own mortality. Have to believe we are all going somewhere after we die. Can't bear the thought of nonexistance. So you have to grasp at the idea that there has to be some other form of existance for us after this.

Something that you won't have to worry about is that when you die and that last synaptic connection takes place... Well like I said you won't have to think about it, nor will you be able to. When that last thought takes place, it will be just that. Your last thought.

The fear of nonexistance is too scary to handle so you take the more comfortable route, which is the belief of an afterlife or some other transition in which you carry on. People don't like others interpretation of what this will be, so they come up with their own version.

What about all the animals and other lifeforms? Are they coming with us? Because if they are, I got to tell you, if I make it to this "place" I'm going to be pissed if I have to be around a fucking chicken, or even have to look at a Chihuahua. Some other animals that I can't stand either. (But maybe I'll be able to communicate and become freinds with a Wood Tick.)
If so, is there anyway out of said "place"? Or will it be another place that I'm just dropped into and the collective once again tries to make me a casualty of conformity?

Argue about this pointless bullshit all you want. Sit around pretending you know the answers to this stuff when you don't even have a clue how to confront and deal with the real problems you face right here. Oh, that's right, these beliefs allow you to say "Oh well, we'll get to our new place and it will be beautiful."

When some strormtroopers have you staked to the wall looking on as they ass rape your wife, tell yourself it's OK because afterward you're going to a better place. And in this place you'll be happy even with that memory.

It's ironic how some talk of us going to this afterlife where everything is love, love, love, and pure spirituality. Then anyone who doesn't believe in their version of it is the target of insults, vile threats, and a general hatred for each other. Oh yeah, you'll be real welcome in this so-called afterlife. Some of you don't even coincide with your own proclaimed beliefs. "I'm a spiritual person...and you're a stupid fuck!" Now that is comedy.

Nonexistance scares the fuck out of you, and you can't handle it. Well deal with it. Life is rough, get a helmet.

Death doesn't exist to me. Going beyond and all i see is life. This is, of course, just my perspective.. what i have seen.

Plenty of people have had Near Death Experiences. Funny how so many of them describe the same thing. And the thing that intrigues me, is not just that they had the experience, but how they perceive and live their lives afterwards.

If there had to be another religion, i wouold like to see it based on the 'knowing' of life after death, where there is no death, and the lessons of life make sense. That to me would be 'seeing' without beliefs.

And it also would be the old - yet New. Cos everything is new, eternally changing, as we are. Humans evolving. Talking about Love here.

Why move into a dimension that we already reside in?

OP, you want 'proof' and claim that's lacking in all the non-traditional belief systems that you lump under the new age heading.

I will assume that that proof must be of the scientific variety. Science as a means and method of reaching truth is only one of several methods. It relies on left brain logic, deduction, repeatable experimentation with all factors under control, yes?

But you just left half your brain out of the process. Your left brain tyrant pontificates that your right brain knows nothing, cannot grasp truth, and is essentially useless. Follow that premise down your logical path to prove yourself a halfwit.

Also, Steven Greer's site has tons of 'proof' that UFO's exist. The bulk of the proof is eyewitness accounts, exactly the same sort of evidence (proof) that has been used in numerous courts of law to lock people up for many years. Yet it's not enough proof for most sceptics.

The scientific method relies on observation of the results of experiments. These are human observations often enhanced technologically, but still human observations nonetheless.

But humans do not observe reality directly; they interpret energy inputs to their senses through a vast neural network that continually filters, summarizes, and fills in unknown, unrecognized, and unfamilar data with substitutes from dubious memories, models, and beliefs.

You want proof? Go get your own proof, something no one can fool you with.

I watched all 3 parts but lost interest after he said there would be a pole shift and major cataclysmic earth changes that would kill off a vast majority of people, and that this would happen in 2004.


He took an old calender and matched up specific events to fit with it, not a big deal.

Since this past weekend some lighter energies have become more apparent, and the energies that appear heavier (because they and the beliefs they lead us into are from the past) are receding. Breathing is a bit easier, here on planet earth. Perhaps you notice that there are moments in each day that are a bit easier and clearer. And yet there is still much that is emotionally unclear and chaotic.

It's like the storms that have been crossing the part of the US where I live. If I look in one direction, there is brilliant sun shining, green grass, and fresh air. I turn around, and I can see massive blue-black clouds shadowing the landscape. There are several times each day when the storm is situated in half of the sky. By turning around I can see either the light of the sun or the dark of the clouds.

And so we are now sitting on a similar edge of the Puja. The last week is an example of the energies we will be facing for the next 20 years. There is the chaos; the dark obscuring what we are attempting to figure out. Then there is the sun; those moments of clarity and forward motion with decision making and synchronicity where we glide forward seemingly effortlessly.

When astrological cycles start and end they do so gradually. The cycle of 36,000 years in the dark side of the Puja (when our consciousness experiences itself as disconnected from Spirit / God/ All That Is) closes with the end of the Mayan calendar in December 2012. We are already feeling the effects of the new Puja, which is one of connectedness to Spirit, begin in our lives.

It is folly to assume that because the Mayan calendar ends that the world will end. It simply marks the conclusion of the known Puja of 36, 000 years. As we step into the new Puja of connectedness to Spirit, the old Puja will linger, much as the storm clouds linger.

We are nearing the cusp of the two Pujas, Light and Dark. We may see the sun of the new Puja on one side of our field of vision, and the past clouds of the Dark Puja as well. We choose which Puja to see and act upon much of the time from now on. That is what the past months have been about; clarifying our own vision so that we can feel and know when we are choosing to sit under the older storm clouds or when we are choosing to walk over into the sunshine.

This is never to say that all the storms have passed. They haven't. But much of the time now we have a choice as to whether we approach the issues in our lives as being cloaked in clouds or bathed in sun. When we shift our awareness, the issues will shift. When we shift our awareness we will see, know and understand something new about the issue that we did not know before. This is how we are built, to respond to spirit.

The very fabric and energies of your human bodies may be transformed because of living now, during the change of Puja. This need not happen, but as and if it does, we on the other side stand in wonderment and awe. The possibility of uplifting such dense matter as your physical bodies so far from spirit into the realm of spirit has not occurred before. How will this affect Spirit, to have such power uplifted to it as the human body carries? Again it is only because of your being bred from both spirit and form that makes this possible. And it is only because of the turning of the Puja that your physical bodies may arise fully into spirit.

Because the change in Puja is now underway, your choices and decisions are both more obvious and more difficult. During the old Puja the connection to spirit was fouled and muffled. Your minds became your guidance, in place of spirit. The old Puja cycle of connection to mind rather than to spirit fades, yet its clouds are still covering a portion of your lives. The new Puja of independence and connection directly to Spirit opens, and the light may temporarily blind you from seeing the choices that are sparkling here in the sunshine.

Choose with your heart and body over these next years. Feel you way with your own knowing, and question each and every moment and habit you have, particularly around family and friends and work. Let the new sunshine illuminate that which your spirit wishes to draw upward into the greater pool of spirit.

Define 'sane' and 'rational' please.

OP - For me it has to do with what feels like "truth" to me. I love the channeled messages but not all of them ring true, only a few. If you read something or hear something and it feels to you like you have always known this then take it into your heart, if not then move on.

All of this New Age stuff that I think you are referring to I feel like I have always known.

Generally speaking human consciousness has reached a point where we are ready to move to the next level. I believe we have reached a point where our technology has surpassed our spirituality and we are now hurrying to catch up. As crazy as it sounds to you nothing has ever sounded more logical to me. We have forgotten our connection to spirit. We are rediscovering our roots again and remembering who we are.
