Unfortunately the probability is extremely high that one of the vigilantes was the real attacker.

The problem with vigilante justice is that more often than not, the target is innocent.

It is disturbing to see how more quickly people assume a person is guilty the worst the accusation is.

In science we have a saying, 'extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence'. With a speeding ticket there has to be a witness , with this accusation there simply has to be a successful emotional disconnection of rational thought amongst those doing the judging. The witch trial like mentality is dangerous to everyone, and any one of you could find yourself a target some day if you allow it to be done to others.

This is simply not true. Women are often molesters but seldom ever get caught. It is expected that women will handle young children in ways that if a man had done the same thing he would be seen as a molester.

In my own experience I would say there are at least as many women molesters as men. Remember, a molester doesn't have to rape to be a molester

Yes ma'am , it does make sense, and it is why women aren't often prosecuted. There is a double standard concerning many acts involving young children , and acts in general with the law.

if a cop shoots a man simply because he perceives a threat to his life, it's a justified shooting in the line of duty. If you or I do shoot the cop because WE KNOW our lives are threatened, it's capital murder.

If a doctor fondles a boys nutsack, it's a hernia exam, but technically it's a sexual assault. How do you prove one way or another what the purpose really was? It wasn't the doctors intent to molest the kid. How do you know?
A woman bathing or dressing a young child that touches private areas isn't going to be tried as a molester, but a man would be, and ma'am that's a fact.

another example is TSA touching kids and looking at their naked bodies in a side scatter x ray machine, a fact I find disturbing. It's difficult to prove intent, but a guy getting his jollies looking at scans of little kids in the airport isn't going to get prosecuted for voyeuristic child pornography, and he can't be found guilty of molestation for the precise same act anyone else would be.

There is a general consensus amongst men not to care if a woman molests a boy because it is believed no harm is done, but women on the other hand want to hang a man that molests a little girl. In order for laws to be effective and just, they need to apply to everyone equally. Men that are molested by women can end up really messed up in the head.
