Libya's Eastern Sector Spy Chief Assassinated (Benghazi)

TRIPOLI, Libya—Libyan security officials said the head of intelligence for the country's eastern sector was assassinated on Thursday in the city of Benghazi.

Officials from Benghazi's security directorate said gunmen shot spy chief Ibrahim Senussi three times—in the head, neck and chest—as he was driving in downtown Benghazi.
