Interesting take there. I definitely agree that the artist has a communist bent in this particular body of work because he is mocking democracy by taking the initial vote whether or not to proceed while making the argument that the Chinese spirit is more important than the individual's body as if by some collective will.

Finally a link to back up the drivel but I do not see anywhere that it is promoted by anyone but the artist - is he "them"?

I really dislike it when people spout hatred and just assume that everyone else is on the same page. I have no reason to hate an entire group of people... its too ominous. If you are going to be ominous at least attempt to say something intelligent rather than attempt to cover up your own ignorance with hate speech.

Just because you are from Spain does not mean that I think you are as awesome as Benicio Del Torro. Jews are individuals too. Perhaps if you generalized less you could see a little clearer.

This guy will do ANYTHING for attention. That's what this says to me. Maybe he'll cut out his own heart next. I don't call this "art." If this "art" is to make a political statement, then he's something else? Sorry. I think it's disgusting. Self mutilation to this level is sickness.

Self mutilation art is so self absorbed, there is
no room for interpretation by anyone else.

Anyway I wasn't talking about all Jews, just about the Jews who are involved in destroying Western Civilization. Unfortunately I feel there's a disproportionate number of Jews involved in it. Enough for me to think we'd be better off with no Jews whatsoever in our countries.

I think it would be more appropriate to convict actual criminals. It creates far less confusion.

Yeah, they're fighting to get Spanish passports now that Spain is offering as reparations for kicking their ancestors out for usury and repeated conspiracy against the nation. The Jews will complain that we kill them and abuse them yet the majority of them live in our nations even now when they have granted access to the "Jewish state".

I was fortunate to of studied at a couple of the worlds better art schools, went on to set a national record in my field and made it to the 'world stage' and walked off stage left in disgust. That was twenty years ago.
The pressure on what to create became more intense the higher you went and it was never towards the positive. That the 'art world' now has to have someone due this to their body to maintain it's shock fix should prove humanity is lost.
Is this art? In a sense yes.
Is it ART? No. I fail to see how this act helps humanity forge ahead down a positive path.
Those involved w/ ART are the vanguard of of humanity, simply the job is recon. To forge ahead of society and bring back what we have found. In that light what ever part of the 'jungle' this guy forged his way into, the final statement to me is - Wrong Way!! In that sense it is art as it transmits a message. It is not ART though, at least to me, as it fails to inspire an experience that in the end points to a positive direction. ART can be rough and ugly but the summation of the experience should teach/inform and have a grain of truth at it's center.
Shock art is hollow after the reaction has worn off, more than likely the reason he wears his rib around his neck - to continue the shock, and just like the 'good' drugs the hit needs to slowly but steadily grow - until people are yanking bones out of their own bodies to meet the needs of the fix.
How do you measure art to ART? Look over the expanse of time, there is a repeating pattern in the high ART of all cultures and until recently this work was placed to elevate the meaning of a place and the ART. Places of worship, where knowledge is kept and taught...
Want to know more about yourself, history, the world we live in? Learn what real ART is and then learn to read it like one would a book. A lot of the knowledge we need but is kept from us is encoded in real ART.
