The wirse part by far for me is my eyes. NOTHING seems to help the redness, itchiness and the tearing is like a water faucet 24/7. I've never experienced such watery eyes. Anyone have recommendations? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17716537 Jersey Shore here...pollen is of the charts |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 57754668 United States 05/13/2014 12:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I quit smoking last fall and now I got all kinds of allergies when I've had none before. WTH? Quoting: Valeria Well, I smoke, and am not saying that smoking is good, but that s*** will coat your sinuses and form a barrier against such things as pollen. If you suddenly quit, especially at the start of a bad pollen season, you will be more vulnerable. In time, you may build up more resistance. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 57754668 United States 05/13/2014 12:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm thinking pollen is bad this year in the American South/East Coast because we had a cold Winter, and a Spring that got warm fast when it arrived. Those plants are taking full advantage of the opportunity. About a month ago, I had a terrible sickness, in which my nose was running like a faucet. I had to blow it so much, my face got raw. Could have been allergies, or sinusitus. Now, I am sneezing a lot, but nothing I can't handle. I can't say, and no doctor could even say I think, whether my nose-faucet thing was allergies that I got more resistant to or a virus, but I can say that many people here in Eastern Virginia are saying that their allergies are as bad or worse than they have ever been. |

It has a very calming and relaxing, soothing aroma. Rub a drop into the arch of your foot, the skin is thin and there are many veins. It works transdermally. Anyone have recommendations? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17716537 For allergies I have never seen anything work as well as local bee pollen. It must be local so that it creates an immunity to the pollen that is irritating you. I lived under a thick canopy of trees that would drop enough pollen to turn all of the cars a golden color. Had two German roommates that were extremely affected by this. Saw them take about a dime to nickel sized amount of local bee pollen and within 5 minutes they went from blowing mucus robes out of their nose to being completely mucus free. Do not start out with that much pollen as that is what you are allergic to. Start out with 3 pollens (10,000 pollens are in each) add 2 pollens per day for safety. For the eyes get a spray bottle and fill with filtered water, spray as a fine mist into your eyes and that will help you with that. Also comes in handy when cooking with hot peppers and being lame enough to touch your eyes. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 58015095 Uruguay 05/13/2014 02:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My sisters doctor gave her some type of allergy shot. I had already told her about all the poisons that are in vaccines and other medical injections and she still takes it. Allergies is caused by an overactive immune system. Humans have lived with pollen and allergens for millenias so they should be used to it. |
