Thanks for your thread. I thought I was going crazy.

All of our interior door knobs are gold (color), horizontal, lever type handles. One day last week I walked by our teen's bedroom door and noticed he had changed the lever handles out for a silver, round knob on one side of the door, and a gold, round knob on the inside bedroom door. I called my spouse at work during the day (to make sure he checked his door when he came home to make sure the door will lock when closed now that he changed the knobs and I was sure he was clueless on how to do it). That evening our teen came home from work and went right to the dinner table. I asked him if he needed help with his bedroom door knobs and he just asked if they could be fixed and that they were like that for a while now. After dinner our teen left to pick up his girlfriend. When he came back home around 11pm I walked upstairs behind him, and saw the gold, lever knob hanging off of his bedroom door (like they always had been). I know what I saw--round door knobs--and I know what I touched-round door knobs--that same day. He was not upstairs at all that day to change the handles back to original ones. CREEPY!

timeline shifts. that's what I think happened too. I'm starting to be able to recognize when they happen. Awareness is the key.

In your opinion, how do these happen or who is doing them?

As per how I believe it happens is that through quantum mechanics alternate universes exist. But specifically why this happened to me I cannot give you an answer even as a physcist because "our" (mine, yours whatever) science can't answer it yet.

happens to me fairly often - and by that I mean, several times a year.

Also what fairly blows your mind once you accept that the timeslips happen:

You are traveling along, but not necessarily with all the same versions of the people you have known.

in other words, your wife that you see today, is not the same wife you had yesterday, or the day before, and definitely not the same one from two weeks ago before all this stuff started happening.

You are probably just becoming more aware of the matrix glitches. They happen all of the time. We just aren't conscious enough to recognize them.

She is 18 and is a senior in high school. They play 7 innings.

I've always dreamed. But my dreams were always what I call an 'explosion' of my mind, and then my mind trying to sort out the days events. The past year and a half I have had dreams, but not like I used to have. In fact my dreams consist of me, my spouse, my kids, living life but in a different house. Not like earlier dreams I've had to sort the day's issues out in my mind. These dreams are very real - we (family) are all involved one way or the other - and it's like it's been staged. Hard to explain. Something funny is indeed going on. Not sure what but there is definitely something going on that should not be shouted from the rooftops at this moment in time... IMO that is....

The matrix is one possibility I suppose.

As I was a child, I remember to have at least two sets of dots and scars on my hands. I kinda scraped with my nail any little peck of scab, not wanting them to turn into a permanent mole. But some did, others went away but weeks later reappeared the same spot, and they seemed to alternate between positions. Maybe I was just bored in class, but I thought WTF, do I have two bodies somehow?

I have a true story to share. A friend and I were going to the mall for some shopping before dusk. I was driving. We were chatting during the ride. Minutes before the exit, I looked over and screamed - her entire face was covered in what I first thought was blood. I said your face is bleeding. She looked in the passenger mirror and screamed too. Upon looking closer, her face was not covered in blood, but painted like some face paint.

I asked what she did and she said nothing. Her hands were also covered with it. We then determined maybe it was a lipstick. When I parked, we both looked for a lipstick but there was none and no sign of anything else that had this color...face paint/lipstick color. Her purse was clean, everything was clean, except her face and hands. The amount of color was significant and all over her face, neck and behind ears. We went in the store so she could wipe it off, as it was very difficult and did not come off easy. After that, we both are convinced in parallel or alternative universes. How else to explain it?

Care to elaborate? This place is very similar to home, but it's not my home so perhaps I understand how you feel. Even with a Phd in Physics I doubt I have much of a chance to figure out what many minds greater than mine have failed to figure out.
