Have you ever been attacked or bitten by a dog?

yes as a three year old. Doberman Pincer attack to the skull.

I was bitten by dogs 4 times when I was a wee lad.
Grandparents cocker spaniel.
Other grandparents dachshund.
By neighbors toy schnauzer.
Attacked by two german shorthairs behind church , bitten by one of them.

May have been a fifth bite, but I can't remember.

As a toddler, dog nipped me. They say I bit him back on the butt.

As a Scout, Scout Leader's dog bit my foot for no reason.

As a young adult, I was in a grocery store parking lot. I had gotten out of my car on a blistering hot, sunny day. The car next to me had a "dog". At that time I didn't know one dog brand from any other "brand" of dog.

Anyway, the poor dog was left in the heat, in the car alone and had his head out panting. I reached over to pet the poor dog on the head. No bark, no growl, nada. Chomp, chomp, chomp all the way to the bone. You could HEAR the dog's teeth biting into my finger bone.

Wrapped my hand, went inside to find and ask the owner if he (or she?) had his rabies shot. The owner had already skeedadled, car, dog and all when I got to the curtesy counter.

Never found out but I DID find out that it's "brand" was a doberman pincer.

Today I was going to tell my cousin's kid that I was bitten by a dog when I was like 5. This was after watching that cat saving that kid from a dog attack video.

When I was six, a Doberman ran at me, knocked my off my bike and bit me 4 times in the back before a neighbor chased the dog off. I had to get the old fashioned rabies shot-6 needles in the stomach- and a handful of stitches. 34 years later I still don't trust dogs and avoid big dogs altogether. I felt bad that the dog that bit me was put down. The family that owned him were pure trash and the dog got loose a lot. I was the third person he bit but the most serious of the bites.

A doberman went my throat , I managed to get my arm in the way and he bit my elbow . So I belted him several times with the golf club I was using for practice , it didn't come back for a second go .

Yup, been bit by a chow, pitbull, chihuahua, dachshund and this stupid little mutt that my wife got about a year ago.

Went with the territory in my line of work.

Been attacked about a dozen times due to my work eviction/foreclosure.....I try never to hurt the dogs but had to kill 4 that I couldn't corral until animal control dept. got here...evictee sicced dog on me or dog left to guard property under eviction....

No, I was a propane delivery man. Had to go in backyards all the time during the day. Some times peeps were home to coral them but most of the time not.

Funny thing though, I am now waiting to here back on a local rural postman job!

I was once chased through a yard that I should not have been in. The dog managed to break its chain link and catch up to me while I was scurrying up a tree. I didn't make it. It grabbed ahold of my knee and ripped me from the limb I was climbing. Luckily, the owner came out before it mauled me. Scariest childhood memory! On another note I once had a very large dog barrel down on me at a beach but at the last second my godfathers dog leaped into the air and floored the aggressor with a bite to the neck. I think he "Wyatt" saved my life. Or at least a good hurting. Wyatt has been my hero ever since. I now have my first dog and wouldn't trade him for anything.

I raised and sold Dobermans since the 1980s. they always fought and bit me. we had great fun.

It is a major break of trust when your dog bites you.

My dog is a super trooper. No chance of a wild attitude. If he went to the other side though it would be a different story.

Makes me miss my old friend

mine was from a dog that wasnt mine lived across the street I use to play with it.. it was a guard dog full blown German Shepard HUGE! ...one day i saw it chewing on something I thought it was a pine stump well it wasnt it was a bone and I tried taking it away hi bit me

I hid in my club house my mom was pissed she was afraid id get lock jaw and said I told you so!

Bunch of times, but got away every time. Thank you LORD.

Most of the times it was by doberman dogs and german shepherd dogs that social services gave to drug addicts, they thought it was a great idea to give it to the drug addicts so they could "get away from the addiction", instead they used the dogs as weapons against kids and other drug addicts etc.

Always barking and growling, kinda like their owners.

We usually managed to climb trees and stuff to get away from the dogs. Once in a while a fat kid got bitten.

It was crazy, and another reason to hate socialism and it's proponents because those who gave these dangerous dogs to unstable drug addicts were all socialists.
