Latest: Area 51 has been linked to the disappearance of Flight MH370. Amazon have just published a new ebook "MH370: The Secret Tapes” by Richard Newman, which claims to be an edited version of secret files from some unnamed US security agency, leaked to a since-suppressed jihadi website. The basic premise is that the plane was cyber-hijacked by the CIA to avoid alien technology falling into the hands of the Chinese. The technology had originally been obtained from an alien captive in Area 51, whose demands (don't ask!) had become so embarrassing to the CIA that it was disposed of with the only hydrogen bomb ever tested in Nevada (yes, the test is documented). In the book, real people, institutions, events and dates are seamlessly mixed with less reliable material in such a way that it becomes quite difficult to distinguish truth from fiction. For instance, genuine air traffic control tapes are merged with black-box recordings supposedly secretly recovered from the wreckage. Fittingly, the book ends with excerpts from the Book of Revelations edited to support the author's conclusions. A good read for the money, and at the end there's a worrying feeling: what if at least some of it is not fiction?

Dr Mahathir Mohamad
Prime Minister of Malaysia
1981-2003

"The plane is somewhere, maybe without MAS markings"

He has his own blog:

Dr. Mahatir is a visionary. He is responsible for amazing projects that have pushed his country forward among which the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur.

I was just through Kuala Lumpur airport between flights with some hours to kill so I went upstairs to see the MH370 walls where everyone and all could leave messages for those on board the aircraft.

It's one of the saddest things I've ever been given to see. I had tears in my eyes. I could not hold the tears.

This is so dramatic. Families still waiting for their loved ones not knowing what could have happened to them.

I am confident that the aircraft is sitting intact somewhere unknown with the passengers and flight crew probably killed by whoever has abducted the aircraft.

These are my feelings.

My feelings are the plane burned. 'Intense heat!' I still don't always know whether to trust what I hear. There is no way to prove what happened to the plane at this time.
