Tells me that they most likely dropped one of the rods while moving it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12863960 that was a huge fire flare-up. . or, are you saying that, if they dropped a rod, that there was some momentary super-criticality that released all that energy all at once. . |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 58154830 United States 05/20/2014 07:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Fire is all over the Fuku watch sites!!! Quoting: Citizenperth This is being confirmed..... Dear lord!!!!! Citizenperth wouldn't feed us shit. he's on to somethin. Happened in the evening, would they be working around the clock? Or a smaller night shift crew? It is almost 9 in the morning there and everything is normal as it can be for the gates to hell. Once again, there was no fire, it was lights of some kind (this kind of panic happens at least 3 times a year). There are no warnings in any of the Japanese papers and all of the cameras are up and running right now. |

That's my best guess besides a fire. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58040403 i can't tell why that area in front of the crumbled Reactor #3 seems to be blacked-out. but the fire seems to be coming from crumble Reactor Bdg. #3 (behind that blacked-out rectangle.) . if it's a ship, then those lights would have to sodium-vapor lights (to be orange). Quoting: Pookee and i never heard of sodium-vapor spot light. spot-lights are always the hotter whiter mercury lamps. All I know is that EVEN THOUGH THESE PARTICLES are supposed to be invisible, just look at the difference of the atmosphere as seen through the camera lens. The sky becomes layered, like a seimogram's waves. I am pretty certain that what we are witnessing in the changed haze of the atmosphere are chain reactions releasing the entire known and unknown spectrum of daughter nuclides from radioactive decay. . If that were the case then there would have been a general workers evac. and emergency vehicles present. There has been neither, nor could an event like that be covered up for hours upon hours. The facts say that everything is still okay - for now anyway... |

He could have summed up that video in about a minute, and he would STILL have NO PROOF of anything! So why get people scared and worked up until you have proof? I worked as a hardness and susceptibility engineer. You are in deep shit. As for that speaker he is excited and a bit overwhelmed. If you had background in the topic you wouldn't judge a mans veracity by his troubled speech. You would be exited too. GE screwed the pooch on this one. Government is a body largely ungoverned. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 58116557 United States 05/20/2014 08:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | GE has no culpability in the Fukushima Catastrophe whatsoever. the Japanese were running ancient antique nuclear reactors at Fukushima Daichi and it was their responsibilities to make all of the upgrades that were obviously necessary. (not GE). the Japanese are simply idiots. . |
