Fucking Tepco gets dumber everyday if that's humanly possible "We are locked in a battle. This is not a friendly, gentleman's discussion. It is a life and death conflict between the spiritual hosts of wickedness and those who claim the name of Jesus Christ." "The Saints are Sinners that keep on trying" |

PLAN TO BUILD ICE WALL AROUND FUKUSHIMA PLANT HITS SNAG [link to citizenperth.wordpress.com] I read your article until I got to this: "Full decommissioning of the plant at Fukushima is expected to take several decades." You can't be serious, with current known technology being insufficient to deal with the melted cores, my understanding is that the melted cores will be burning for over 1000 years. And, at some point the plant will have to be evacuated because the radiation levels will be too high for humans to even be there. So how can "Full decommissioning" EVER take place? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 59123032 United States 06/18/2014 06:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Chernobyl Exclusion Zone covers an area of approximately 2,600 km2: [link to en.wikipedia.org] If you compare the size of the reactor at Chernobyl to the size of the reactors at Fukushima, according to my understanding, the reactors at Fukushima are approximately three times the size of the reactor at Chernobyl and the reactor at Chernobyl only had a 30% meltdown. So, the Fukushima meltdowns are much larger than the Chernobyl meltdown obviously. How big is the exclusion zone going to have to be for Fukushima Daiichi? Can anyone answer that question? All of the above isn't even taking into account the fact that Fukushima Daiichi will need to be evacuated someday when the radiation levels reach the point where humans can no longer stay on site. After that everything will be escalated to a point I don't think we can even imagine now. I do not applaud anyone staying anywhere near Fukushima including Tokyo. Yoichi Shimatsu evacuated his home in Japan because he believed that it was too contaminated to live in after the Fukushima Daiichi disaster and he now says that if he had continued living there he thinks he'd be dead. I don't understand the belief that the comfort of home is more important than your life. I look at staying in the path of the radiation as being little different from Jews who refused to leave Nazi Germany before they were taken to the death camps. Can someone show explain to me how and why there's a difference? |

Ecclesiastes 9:4-5 King James Version (KJV) 4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. 5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. |
