I don't think you understand international relations let alone business, the risk at the US$ if they pay each other in their domestic currency - which they agreed to do.

Contract is worth 400+ bilions dollars. Gas will be suplied through newly build gas line from Siberia to China coast. The deal starts in 2018. The negotiations lasted for 10 years. Main focus was gas priceat wich they sell gas to Chinese. The last price they agreed with is not known to the public.

Russian energy secretary said Chinese could pay in advance for up to 25 billions worth of gas.(UA you should learn..)

If brics adapt to this it will be 3 billion people buying oil and gas withot the dollar.
