Tim Horten's coffee is liquid meth. The stuff cranks those crazy Canadians up so much they have to drink a liter of rye just to come down from it.

Poor little thing was hungry and looking to nurse. Hope it got help.

Mom was probably across the road or left him to look for food. This is completely normal. This guy likely made a big mistake in taking this moose. He should've called the MNR to deal with it appropriately. Instead, he took the moose from the wild and went to fucking Tim Horton's of all places to show off like a douchebag.

If you watched the video he explains that it was still wet and had the umbilical cord still attached. Hopefully the mother just abandoned the little one thinkin it was dead. If not then this guy is a fool

Desgroseillers said his friends found the moose calf on Sunday, not in Copper Cliff, but on the side of Highway 144 near Dowling, walking into oncoming traffic.

They debated what to do with the calf and, after a little research, called Wild at Heart in Lively to ask for advice.

"The information that they gave my friends was to put her deep back into the bush and leave her be so her mother could find her," Desgroseillers said.

The couple did just that — six times over the next three hours — but the little calf kept going to the side of the road into traffic.

"It was about 11 p.m. [when] they called me to see if I could give them a hand," he said.

"I went up there and, after trying to get her back to where she belonged, she kept following us like a little puppy."

Desgroseillers said they decided to bring her back to Sudbury and contact someone for help, but couldn't get in touch with anyone.

"I couldn't figure out what to do," he said. "I was pulled over by the police at this time, and they tried to help me out and contact the people. They couldn't get a hold of anybody. Police basically told me, 'Steph, you have a pet until you can get a hold of the proper people to take care of the calf.'"

It really does sound like she was abandoned or mom was hurt. The mother wouldn't leave a newborn alone for 3 hours - even if there were people around. It's more likely that she would have charged those people to protect her baby.

I hope the little one at least got the colostrum she needs to survive.

My friend had a teeny tiny fawn follow her home after a jog in the Poconos (PA) and she called the police to help, and almost got arrested for "taking a wild animal." My friend is a little blonde girl (was 22 at the time) which is the ONLY thing that I'm convinced saved her from being arrested and fined.
