Ok i don't know how much longer this thread will be pinned; what we can do from here is start another thread which we can search for and post TO, every time we wish to communicate with each other (obviously everyone else feeling free to check it out).

We could create a name for this experiment, i was thinking 'Project Somnium' (somnium=dream in Latin), it would be something with which i could title the new thread so from now on, just use the GLP search bar to look for it.. does that sound good?

Hello GLP,
What this is about, is a proposal for the formation of a group of GLP users to coordinate using a simple technique called 'dream incubation', also known as 'dream seeding'. The following thread:

Thread: You ARE psychic! How to use your dream states to receive information about anything you desire

...details what this technique is, and how it works. If you are curious or want to be a participant in this experiment, please skim through the first post of the above thread, and read on.

Here are the fundamental concepts i wanted to convey in this post:

1. The first thing that needs to be understood, is that your mind is complex, layered, and extremely powerful- regardless of your IQ level or proficiency in various skills. Your mind has the ability to touch on dimensions beyond our physical reality!

2. Meditation is the key to doing this; if you have questions on any topic, then the state of meditation can yield the answers

3. SLEEP is a form of meditation. The brain wave patterns during deep, restful sleep, mimic that of an experienced Yogi, the difference being that a spiritually advanced person who has meditated for years can reach this state of mind at will. But again, SLEEP is a form of meditation in which the conscious mind is temporarily subdued, and the superconscious (or super-subconscious or 'soul mind', they are all synonyms) becomes more active; it is the soul mind that has produced precognitive dreams and revealed incredible information of which the dreamer had no prior knowledge. 4. Through a very simple technique called dream seeding, you can willfully tap into the immense power of your superconscious mind, through your dream state- and even produce results like those recorded in the video above. Questions and curiosities can be answered, and new inventions can even result.

What i personally have found to be the most fascinating and potentially useful aspect of the technique, is the ability for the mind to foresee future events. This is possible because the superconscious mind is NOT limited by time and space. Time (as we know it) does not exist in the dimensions beyond our own; instead, they exist in an ever-present moment, with future events shaped by numerous factors including and especially human influence; people are free to do whatever they wish, good or bad (this is called the Law of Free Choice).

Prediction is the perception of future events usually human-caused that are probable to happen; prophecy is the perception of future events that WILL (or 'must') happen; they are usually more influential than predictive events and will happen regardless of human actions.

Many ask: "Is the future 'set'?" Yes and no. Certain events- people individually, and humanity as a whole- MUST go through as they are part of our experience. By using the dream seeding technique, one is essentially asking one's own higher Self (essentially, asking the Universe itself since one's soul mind interfaces with all other minds) for an answer to the desired question. It is like casting the mind forward to perceive what lay ahead, like a fisherman casts out with a rod and reel. When one does this, the Universe DOES provide an answer!

5. You may be thinking at this point, what could be unique or special about dream seeding, when so many people have posted about their dreams on GLP already, very few of which have been meaningful? Dream seeding is different in that instead of attempting to interpret any random dream, one is directing one's mind for a specific result or answer. To put it another way, the mind, when it is consciously directed, is empowered since it is focused on a particular question. This frees it from other aspects that might influence the dream state.

6. If you have read this far :) you are probably at least curious as to the results possible with the dream seeding technique. This video demonstrates one of my experiences with it- a specific answer to a health question:



Some other experiences i've had using the technique are as follows:

* Years ago, previous to the economic downgrade of the U.S. when we were reduced from AAA to AA credit rating (and Obama's famous comment that we'd always be a 'AAA' country!), i used the technique to ask for information about the future of the U.S. economy. The response was a short dream in which i saw a 1st-person view of myself picking up a small battery. That was all there was to it! Woke up immediately afterward. Now, one important aspect to this is to pay attention to the fine details of the response e.g. what are the NAMES of the things seen in the dream. It was a 'AA'-sized battery i picked up in the dream. Based on that, i figured the U.S. would be downgraded to AA credit rating soon, and sure enough, a few weeks afterward, it indeed happened.

* On another occasion i requested information on a 'significant event that would make world headlines in the near future'. The question was left open-ended, just like that. Two or three nights later the response came as i was waking up, the word 'BOLIDE' was echoing in my head, several times- like it was being emphasized. Being unsure of what this word meant, i google'd it and found that a bolide is a general term related to meteors and meteorites. About a week later, a bright meteor seen and videotaped in China made the news. Several other such events around the world made headlines in the subsequent 2-3 months, and it was remarked by many that the frequency of prominent meteor sightings was very unusual.

* i asked about improving my health. The response was a dream in which in front of me was a large dinner plate filled with a variety of different-colored steamed vegetables, and a voice saying in a slightly sarcastic, chiding tone: "Eat food that is actually food!" At the time i had an over-reliance on processed and fast food; the voice's tone was such that the suggestion should have been obvious (like when someone says "Well, DUH!"). Got a chuckle out of that one, but it was a valid point!

* A few years ago i asked for information on a prominent near-future event, that would have an impact either locally or nationally. The response was one i'll never forget- this was the first time the answer was not at all pleasant. The response was another first-person view dream in which this time i was in an apartment. There was a knock on the front door, i opened the door and immediately two women pushed the door fully open and just walked in the apartment. i asked what they were doing- no response. They walked in, looking around, and i got the uneasy feeling robbery was a motive. I called out to them to stop, asking what did they want..? One of the women smirked at the other, then drew a handgun and began firing at me. There was no pain in the dream but i could feel the bullets impacting me in the torso, screaming and falling backward. The woman stood over me pointing the gun at my head and firing one last shot; i woke up sitting bolt upright in bed, heart racing and in a cold sweat! Told my brother about the dream also. ONE WEEK LATER TO THE DAY, there was an attempted murder in my town- and it happened in an apartment about a fifth of a mile away from me literally ONE BLOCK down the street! Homicides are extremely rare for my community, there are gangs here and occasional violence but we average about one murder per 8-10 years in this area. The incident occurred when a man in the apartment heard knocks on his door, two intruders burst in, one had a firearm and shot the tenant in the gut. Some items were taken from the apartment, the two intruders left and were later arrested. What i dreamt about actually happened precisely one week later, almost exactly as it was depicted in the dream- the exception is that fortunately the man who had been shot, survived the attack. The incident caused a flurry of law enforcement activity eventually leading to the apprehension of the suspects, and was covered on regional TV news stations- so the answer definitely fit the parameters of the question.

7. Dream seeding is neither occultic nor 'New Age' (bear in mind various scriptures including the Bible talk about dreams and dream interpretation in a positive light); these techniques have been used for thousands of years. One is not getting the dream response from 'evil spirits' or the like. There is really nothing to fear but if you have any reservations, that is ok- don't participate if it's not for you.

8. Why do this experiment? Because it's interesting, exciting, fun, and can produce some amazing and useful results with minimal effort! Dream seeding is ridiculously easy.



THE GLP PSYCHIC EXPERIMENT USING DREAM SEEDING - MY PROPOSAL
The concept behind this simple experiment is as follows:

* There should be an initial 'pool' of about 20 participants who are GLP members only (you have to be a member and have a username); AC's are excluded because this makes it easier to keep track of who is participating. If limitless people would do this and reply to the thread it could adversely affect the results by individuals who enjoy fabricating. After some time, as we discuss how things are going and exchange information and ideas, we could consider adding more.

* Once or twice a month, the participants use the dream seeding technique to ask a mutually agreed-upon question, in other words we all coordinate to ask the same question at the same time. Questions about significant future events are potentially the most useful and interesting, but the topics can be practically anything. Again, we can create a thread in which we all mutually decide on the focus question.

* When the answers are received, each participant records the details of the dream in his/her dream journal (see below), then shares them in the thread. The answer is sometimes immediate but do not count on this- usually the answer comes within a few days.

* Here is a critical aspect: we look for strong commonalities or patterns in the answers, amongst all the participants. For example, if a question regarding the future is asked, and 15 out of 20 people get a response indicating a severe earthquake in a specific geographical location... it could be a strong indicator such an event is about to happen. The question itself is all-important: it needs to be specific e.g. asking about a future event, one should ask for an event that will be known about globally or have global implications etc. Again, for consistency in the answers, every participant should ask EXACTLY the same question, which will be agreed upon by the group.

Requirements if you want to participate:

* Again, you must be a GLP member with a username please, not an AC

* Your dream recall needs to be at least passable. Make sure that currently (WITHOUT the dream seeding technique), you have a clear remembrance of a dream at least once a month. As you may already be aware, everyone dreams- it is just that some people consistently remember their dreams and others don't. If you almost NEVER do, please do not take part in this experiment.

* Keep a dream journal at your bedside. This is a small notebook and it is invaluable since upon waking, dreams often fade from your conscious mind very quickly! It is important to immediately write the dream down: write the date at the top, and jot down everything you dreamt about especially anything you 'heard' in the dream e.g. if you were told anything verbally, and any details that were very prominent etc. Upon awakening, write quickly, carefully, and try to capture every detail in your journal entry. My own sample dream journal is below; note the clip-on reading light attached to it as this is useful if you wake up in the middle of the night, you don't have to get out of bed and turn on the light in your bedroom:





THE TECHNIQUE: DREAM SEEDING

What follows is the actual dream seeding (also called 'dream incubation') technique. Recite the following words several times just before bed. The obective is for it to be the last possible thing on your mind before drifting off to sleep; focus on the words as you recite them either out loud or silently.

Do you consider yourself atheist or agnostic? Then use the following or a close variation thereof:

"I set my intention to receive an answer to the following question in my dreams: (question) I will wake up immediately after with the answer fresh in my memory."

Do you consider yourself a spiritual or religious person? Then you can use the following (this is what i have used myself):

"I call upon God, the angels, my ancestors, spiritual guides, all Ascended Masters, and all beings of the Light and of a positive vibration that are in the unseen, to grant me the answer to the following question in my dreams: (question) I will wake up immediately after with the answer fresh in my memory."

Anything that is held in the mind and repeated, can be considered a 'prayer' or affirmation. There is no 'one' method or one set of words to this; what matters most is your intent, and there is room for your own verbiage or 'version' of the words tailored to your own belief system whether you are Atheist, Agnostic, Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, etc. etc. If you do this, feel free to use the above as a general 'template' but tailor it to your own beliefs.

The above directs the mind to retrieve the answer to a particular question, the answer is then given through the dream state. Have no doubt, rather an assurance and expectation of an answer, but be neutral: don't expect SPECIFICALLY, just expect.

When you receive the answer in your dream, waste no time in immediately writing it down in your dream journal as advised- taking note of every detail seen and 'heard' in the dream. Then, post your answer in a GLP thread we'll use exclusively for this.

There is a whole 'science' to the interpretation of the deep symbolism featured prominently in most dreams; however the answer received from a formal 'request' made by using this technique, can usually be taken literally, so little or no 'interpretation' is usually needed, but if necessary i can assist with this aspect also when the answers are posted.

Feel free to post any questions or additional ideas; we can get rolling when we have enough people doing this and decide on our first focus question :)
