Oh no, it's climate change!

This is proof of climate change right here..

Climate change has caused the poles shift.

Oh wait, it's actually pole shift causing climate change.

Doesnt the pole shift happen during the
Three Days of Darkness?

Is that this summer?

Well, i think the climate will change if the earths axis

is reduced to zero. No more 4 seasons.

Magnetic north pole is now over 220 miles from where it should be...it DOES NOT appear to be correcting...think about it for a sec

Looks like they are going to have to make that graph bigger.
 Quoting: catnahalf 36706549

Indeed the chart is quite alarming...the most drastic effect so far has been on the jet stream and weather.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41711279

False attributions with 0 proof make for a misleading thread. The jetstream and all earth weather is man made. IF you want to see the frequency pulses that can alter the jetstream just watch. Half moons and wide angle pulse beams abound. Having a theory and making everything fit into it is dangerous, stick with what you know and can prove. For instance its cloudy 6/7 days a week with the result being very low sunlight levels. What happens when the sun is blocked, why wouldl they want to block the sun... this is a much better rabbit hole than the pole shift which you speak of.

Um, you do know the magnetic pole wanders don't you.
Or are you a special kind of stupid?

According to the compass i keep on my desk, it hasn't wandered far.

I've been tracking this since November of last year during ISON's passage..it appears as if the magnetic drift began during ISON's pass and since that time it HAS NOT CORRECTED and I don't believe it will...HUGE implications geophysically for this planet should the pole continue to drift on this course and at this rate.

You cannot debunk the science.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41711279

overcap
Because the gravity of dozens of objects in the general area that are millions of times larger than ISON was nullified and overcome by an object that was mostly destroyed by the sun during transit. Yeah. Makes lots of sense. Keep talking about stuff you have no clue about. Please.

The magnetic poles have absolutely nothing to do with the rotational axis of earth. Infact the magnetic poles ARE ALWAYS MOVING a few feet a year.and have switched polarities in the past. The earth is still here.iamwith
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28285524

Just maybe switching polarity is lethal to your health?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58434735

Stay with me here!DON'T GO INTO THE LIGHT!!!!!!

Think:
There's people living in south America where the"south" magnetic pole is closer; there'speople living in North America closer to the "North" pole.
No difference! unless you count speaking spanish.

The Only way to tell the difference is looking at a MAGNETIC COMPASS. 5a

Watch your clocks where they are updated by a third party (cell, cable/satellite, atomic) to the ones you set by hand.

Calibrate the hand set ones to your cell phone and wait a few weeks to see what happens.

Not this much. The magnetic poles are generated by the core. The core is the planet. We are just a crust that sits on top of it.

The crust is trying to catch up, often rather violently (see what happened to "true north" after the Japanese earthquake and some other major ones in the past 4 years)

Long before that, actually.

This page tracks movement back to 1590 (and that is not a typo for "1950"..lol)

Now if you want to check into Geological time scale, you'd find that the magnetic pole has been moving and reversing throughout Earth's history.

The mass of this planet that causes the poles is the greater part by a very long way.
We live on the thin sliver of outer skin.
Once the poles flip its possible that the outer skin will follow.
The biblical floods are a result of the water reacting to the movement, the entire body of water will flow over the entire land mass.

Been nice....

The Earth is alive, dynamic and ever-changing.

We will witness many more changes if we can adapt, evolve and survive.

People are such a tiny blip on the timeline, we have it in our heads that what we have observed in our short existence is somehow normal.

There's no such thing as normal on this rock - it changes as it has been changing since it began and will continue to change until it ends.

It will be interesting to see what's coming, but we shouldn't worry ourselves over that which we can't control or change.

It should be a fun ride.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24537691

It does wander about, very slowly. Look at runway numbering...they are numbered according to "magnetic" direction vs "true" (geographic) direction. From time to time, you'll see runways change numbers based on the adjusted magnetic direction.
When I flew in the 70s, the isogonic line went right through my home town, so mag and true directions were the same. No so anymore, the N/S runways at the big airport are now 35/17 vs 36/18.
No biggie, it just keeps slowly meandering up there...
