Quoting: emerald_glow Left on their own they sure multiply in a fast pace, but if you look closer you see that animal CONTROL agencies do much more , than common sense would suggest in order to prevent overpopulation. All the spaying/neutering campaigns, the sterilization of all cats before giving out to adoption results in that there are practically no pregnant cats or little kittens seen anywhere in my neighborhood, and most anywhere where I go. Soon they will become a rare, expensive luxury item, then they disappear altogether... You need to check out some animal shelters and the pound if you think there is a lack of cats/kittens. There are still plenty of intelligent, money able people in this country who do not spay or neuter their animals and let them breed every year. They may or may not find homes for the babies, but those who take them in may end up doing the same and those babies are making babies. I know of one family who did such things. Their cat would have babies every year and they basically did nothing for the babies. Thought they were cute and cuddly and sweet, but, as far as they were concerned the babies either lived or died or went feral or whatever. Sad, sad. They were not poor and both had well paying jobs. My mom is old fashioned. She also doesn't spay or neuter the numerous cats she feeds. Only lets one come inside as her pet, but she never took a cat in for a spay or neuter in her life. They just don't spend alot of money on their "pets". Now, in her case, she really doesn't have the money and I know the cats give her company and something to take care of to make her feel needed. So, there are two examples of not having to worry about cats going extinct. |

Remember back in history when cats were cruelly killed all over Europe due to allegedly being associated with witches? Well, what happened next? Rats overran the land and brought fleas carrying the black death and destroyed at least a quarter of the population! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58481838 Right on! Thanks for reminding me. Rats multiply way faster than cats. Rats are everywhere, all over the world, and they do a lot of damage. Feral cats hunt for rats; house cats do it, too if they can. The reptilians have made slaves out of the humans, and cats come with a parasite that actually causes submission. The cats, as the reptilians see it, are causing a conflict in will. Reptilians aren't affected by cute/cuddly, so quelling the 'enemy' would be no issue to them. We can only hope that ultimately, the cats will win against the humans if it means the extinction of humanity forever. Quoting: Mister Obvious :kttn2: The cat I'm feeding had three kittens, two of which are females. Can't catch um either to fix um because they are too wild. Too bad that they aren't all males because these cats are small and the small males don't win the mating game around here. Kinda dread the idea of more cats popping out. find one of those groups that trap, spay or neuter and release them back out home- they're out there--look for them. they;ll bring the trap and everything or at the minimm give you some-sure they're clever bt after seeing the trap hangin around with food there for them --you'll safely collect them and they'll do their work and release them back to their colony. |

Without knowing the real cause of certain 'syndrome', the "scientist" just assign the product as the cause. It's like an idiot sees a swarm of flies on a pile of poop then conclude that the flies made the poop. |
