Love and strength to all of you. I have not read many of the post but I know from experience how hard it is to struggle with terminal illness. My mother, who crossed over last June, had lung cancer. (she was a NON SMOKER) and I was her primary care giver the last 6 months.

3 weeks before she went I broke my back (L5) trying to lift her. I did not put her in a hospital. I continued to care for her with much day time assistance from hospice. They were great!

A few days before mom could no long speak she kept saying "it's just a dream, it's all just a dream". She was seeing life here as it truly is and she seemed to be at peace with that knowledge. She was a christian, I am not but did my best to support her thoughts there. The morning she went I was in bed still as it was around 7 am. I was awake however when I heard a very loud knock which seem to come from my inside wall. I knew it was not mom as she was now had been in a coma for 3 days. I continued to lay in bed and then another loud knock about 30 seconds later and I knew I had to get up.

I went right to my mom to check on her...she was in her last few breaths of life and in a moment she was gone.
I did not expect to be at her side when this happened and KNOW that God the ONE got me out of bed to be with her. (it was only my mom and myself in the house)

It is hard to believe it has been one year already. Mom was 83 and was ready to go.

I send so much love and good wishes to all here and hope me sharing my experience helps a little. There is nothing to fear and only loving arms waiting to welcome you home when you leave this existence. Love and Peace

Thanks so much for that! I was in the middle of writing about my own experiences when poof! Everything got deleted..I almost want to cry but I wont lol Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

death bed visions as they are commonly called are real. Hopefully I'll be able to write about them more tomorrow.
it's a fascinating subject and I believe you.

I only had epilepsy due to my brain tumors, medication takes care of that now.

I'm not amazing though thanks for the compliment Paige. All of the other folks here, mother with sick child, father who's trying to hold it all together while battling leukemia and all of the other good, amazing folks here, including you my friend!

Hi all! Had a rough day today. Whole right side of my body is betraying me LOL.

My right foot is 3x it's normal size, I keep leaning to the right, I'm drooling from the right side of my mouth, etc. I am guessing it's brain tumor related.

I am going to oncologist tomorrow. My daughter wanted to bring me to the ER but I figured since I'm seeing doctor tomorrow it could wait, and, I'm hard headed.

I will check in tomorrow if I can. Bless all of you..I'll be thinking of you..please say a prayer for me.

Wish things will work out better for today. Still reading, sending warm thoughts to all, some strenght for difficult moments or hard memories popping up on all the wrong moments. Wish for all of you that magic moment when you just are, not thinking at all, just sensing, a feeling of bliss, no special reason for it, a moment out of time, clear head, warm smile, tingling sensation in your heart, not understanding, just knowing; all is well.

No distances for energy, for hope, for plain (!) love. Sending special hughs right...now!

And with all of this going on her life - this Angel Joannie was comforting me on facebook yesterday with my Veteran anger. She is a special special soul, she is!!!
