I just got home from the hospital with my daughter. She had a seizure when we went to the clinic for her chemo therapy. I'm saddened to see that Joannie is still missing. My prayers are with her.

I'm feeling okay now. Had some pain this morning and afternoon so I had taken the pain meds I was prescribed which made me get sick, lol. But since then I've been fine. I think I will only take the pain meds before bed from now on. Thanks for asking. hugs

Joanie is still in the hospital..the doctors still pushing her son to arrange hospice care for her, but he's exploring home care options and holding out hope that she can keep fighting... No one wants her to go to hospice..

She can't speak too well and he mentioned her calling him at his apartment, but very frustrating for them both because its hard for her to communicate.

Aww Thank you. She is okay now. There isn't any scary underlying cause thank goodness. I kept telling them that the methotrexate that she had to take was causing side effects. At least they are listening now. I don't know quite how this will effect her treatment though.

So much love here for her here, how powerful!

I told her son next time he talks to her to let her know we all send our love and we are pulling for her. HF

My dad and I were planning to canoe down the Mississippi River; when the doctor told him he only had 6 months to live.
A few months later, I was putting him into the car, and he said, Don't hurt your back Son.
I said, Dad, you're not that heavy.
My Dad went from super Dad to dead in 7 months.
God bless you, your family, loved ones, and everybody else who has cancer in their lives.

I am thinking of Joannie. She befriended me behind the scenes, facebook even. She is such a wise and beautiful soul. It is hard not to have your whole heart just open up to her right away - even in a world where you don't know who really is on the other side of the keyboard, she opened her beautiful wisdom to me. What a classy classy lady.

It brings me hope for humanity to see the care and concern and sharing on this thread. It makes me feel good to know some of you know each other beyond the keyboard. I wish all of you peace of heart tonight. Life can be brutal, and this is just a touch of light in what is sometimes a dark place.

Good post. I agree.

When Jeffry (Fatal W1shes) was sick, GLP really came together for a united cause. We can work together as a strong loving unit when it comes down to it.
Trying to bring GLP together. I'm still collecting flags from posters all over the world. Thread: Official "Flags from around the world" thread. Hoping to get posts from all countries that frequent GLP.
