About 2 weeks ago my ferret started tearing at its cage literally every single night at about 3 AM. I moved its cage downstairs so I could get some sleep but the thing just keeps hissing and tearing at its cage every night. Now up until yesterday the whole 3 AM thing meant nothing to me, but after doing some research I came to realize that this is apparently the "witching hour". And upon further research I found this website. So I decided to post here for some advice or something??? Quoting: help me 20317150 Stop sleep walking and inserting him up your ass. Little guy is traumatized. |

Well its for the ferret so I guess you don't have to hide it. Set up a camera and record your fur ball. See if he just wakes up and freaks at about 3 or if he wakes earlier and zones out before the freak out. I've got 3 ferrets right now and mine DO NOT go nuts at night. I'm interested in what you might see in the video. |

YES ! my ferret used to steal small objects and hide them around the house Mine would steal all of the small Christmas presents from under the tree. He also stole my husbands keys everytime he came over to my house, this was of course when we were dating. And, mine, I later had 5 of them at once, would stay up all night. We finally made then their own room so they wouldn't keep us up all night. Don't know if it was ever specifically ever at 3, but they tore stuff up all night. And yes, that is the witching hour! Do you have any friends/family that has passed recently and might be trying to come through to you? Definitely and interesting theory. hehehe |
