Why is there an Aircraft Carrier off the coast of Santa Barbara, CA?
Does anyone know why there is an aircraft carrier off the coast of Santa Barbara? I am pretty sure it was not here yesterday. I just moved here and was wondering if it is normal. Does anyone know which one it could be?

It happens. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Should make you feel safer anyway right?

Could have something to do with the fact that the largest
Naval base on west coast is 218 miles south of you.

Santa Barbara near Malibu, California.

Undersea ET base revealed there. The U.S. Navy could

be keeping an eye on it.

It's 1400 feet underwater. Entrance is just 4 miles

from PCH 1.

Didn't someone post a thread the other day about all of the National Guard was called up in the state of New Jersey and were being shipped out to the Pacific? Maybe has something to do with that. Things are escalating between Vietnam and China and also with Japan and China, maybe that why. Also, could be recent dollar deals China made with Russia.

If there's nuclear war, we are all sunk. Think I'd rather get taken out right at the first than suffer. My daughter leaves the ship in a month for a new assignment. I'm not worried.

Because the Navy has discovered that a carrier floats better in an ocean than in a lake, and you have an ocean nearby.

When you hear reports that Seoul South Korea has come under sustained artillery attack from the north and you hear reports that US carriers have/are being attacked and sunk...

You have less than 48 hours to bugout to an area at least 100 miles from all major cities and military facilities.

If you don't you will not live to see Obama sign the unconditional surrender.

Re: Why is there an Aircraft Carrier off the coast of Santa Barbara, CA?
It was publicity and p.r. I spent three days on it with my relative who is a sailor. Rode from SB to San Diego. The most polite, disciplined, kind, enjoyable people you'll ever meet. They live in very tight quarters, work from 5 a.m, till 10 or 11, fall into their itty bitty racks (bed) and get up and do it all again. I was amazed and impressed.
