Speak English

Ok, so first of all I'm an immigrant.
We came here because we had a work offer. The company needed a specialist here, and my husband was the best for the job.
We came on a work visa for my husband and I was not allowed to work.
We got our citizenship the legal way. We have paid taxes all these years, we never got even a cent in support from the American people or the gobberment. We paid $100 000+ in taxes last year alone.
We almost paid for our house ( 15 years faster than we were supposed to)
Both my kids are intelligent and healthy. They will never live on the back of someone else. They will work and support this country.
Well, tonight our daugther asked us to buy her a hot sauce. There is a small local company that makes the best hot sause. We decided to drive to a store where they sell it, not very close to us and get that instead of some of the big brands. We were just entering the store and laughing and talking in Bulgarian (we were not loud), when this person walks by and whispers with anger "SPEAK ENGLISH".

I do not know why, but that rubed me the wrong way.
It kind of make me think. I did NOT get offended. But how bitter that person was....wow. We all come from somewhere. Some immigrants work like horses...
We have no roots here, but our kids are born here and this is their country.
America is absolutely only benefiting from my family.
We are Eastern European btw.

Just wanted to share, I don't even know why...
Maybe just ignore it, back to the real problems lol
