MY SHORT STORY:
ONCE UPON THE TIME THERE WAS AN APE. HE DECIDED HE'D REATHER BE AN OSTRICH, SO NATURALLY HE WENT TO THE WISE OLD BARBER TO SE WHAT HE COULD DO. THE BARBER SCRATCHED HIS HEAD AND SAID "WHY AM I SEEING A TALKING APE THAT WANTS TO BE A FLIGHTLESS BIRD? I MUST BE GOING SENILE."

THEN THE GREAT COSMIC FIRE PEACOCK SAID, "WHO ARE YOU CALLING FLIGHTLESS? THIS ENTIRE UNIVERSE IS A FLIGHT OF MY FANCY." THEN HE DESTROYED THE UNIVERSE BECAUSE IT HAD VEXED HIM. A NEW UNIVERSE WAS GESTATING IN THE EGG ON THE PEACOCK'S BACK, BUT IT WAS WRAPPED WITH A SNAKE BITING ITS OWN TAIL AND WOULD TAKE 497 OCTILLION YEARS TO HATCH. SO THINGS WERE PRETTY QUIET FOR A WHILE.

I do get paid, but I am currently working on better marketing ideas. you can be Charles Dickens, but if people don't know you're out there..
all free [covers etc.] on create space.[they do have paid services].change word into pdf. publish. I have a little artists page on amazon. its great.

Do you have ownership of your work or do they own it and you cannot take it to another marketplace to sell your piece because it is theirs?

I own all the rights but they take a cut when they sell.and if I say this has to be unpublished they do it quickly. I suppose if I wanted to sell on lulu or elsewhere, Id have the rigmarole of that particular process, but, so far so good. as I said, all I need now is some better marketing and I should be good.

I have been thinking of putting a story together. Not really a story, though, more of a documentary. Perhaps a bio but not about ego-bio, something different. I'm going to look into it.

As for giving your titles, I wouldn't worry about putting it here (I think everyone is really honest and lovable when you really get down to it, imo).

do it and make a free profile on create space. I write 5 pages a day for 6 months and there's your novel/book.
