How exactly do they erase them first in mice? Also how do they know this? Can they read and understand mice thoughts?

Re: Scientists 'reactivate' Alzheimer's patients' memories
Scientists in America are hopeful of a breakthrough in curing Alzheimer's, following a study that shows a way of bringing back the lost memories of dementia patients.

Researchers at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine have erased and successfully reactivated memories in rats, offering hope that the same can be achieved with humans.

The study, published next month, is the first to show the ability to selectively remove a memory and then reactivate it.

This is done by stimulating nerves in the brain at frequencies that are known to weaken and strengthen the connections between nerve cells, called synapses.

Roberto Malinow, a professor of neurosciences and senior author of the study, said: "We can form a memory, erase that memory and we can reactivate it, at will, by applying a stimulus that selectively strengthens or weakens synaptic connections.

I'm very passionate and pissed about Alz. disease. My mom has it.

If you have a grandma or pa, ask them about their ancestors and see what they tell you about the presence of Alz. or something similar to that back in their days.

Everyone I have queried about it, cannot attest to people acting like that way back in those days. I have asked many people about this.

You (I did) can get the pure, virgin coconut oil jars in the health food stores. Get that kind, or else it's full of the bad fat.

When's the last time you saw a coconut for sale in the store or produce stand? Eh?

Erased and brought back?
I made a mistake of cutting a file and when trying to paste it back it was corrupted. I was not able to retrieve the file again. It was gone for good.
Which got me thinking. Memory of a person is not stored in the brain. Brain only acts as a mechanism of access.
In actual fact momery of a person is stored in consciousness, very much like the new system of using cloud in computers.
The cloud system is the consciousness and drop box is the part of the brain that can retrieve the memory.
Memory is not stored in the brain and thus does is not lost when a person dies or brain is damaged
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58785458

This is what I believe is true as well, A.C.

Took a history of medicine class in college and
learned that back in the days of Plato and
Aristotle, the brain was just considered the
"radiator" of the body--like your car radiator
which just regulates body temperature. They
thought that the heart and stomach are actually
the seat of consciousness. Seems interesting
when you think about it that if you had a really
bad memory in your brain, you should get an
ulcer up there and not in your stomach. Or maybe
that is was a stroke is all about? Who knows--
there is still a great deal we don't understand
about consciousness and the brain!
Great thread, OP--good to hear this info!
cheers

You can't reactivate what is lost forever. If someone have Alzheimer long enough, he literally loses brain mass. Anyway, rat brain? I call bs. Just a psyop to get more government funds exploiting people's fears. Look at how they found a cure for cancer or other diseases, animal testing is so useless.

more or less. But without being able to stimulate or access that part of the brain needed to capture a memory from a specific level/dimension of the subtle mental body, the point is moot.

The key is to use sound waves via mantra (voice) or meditation (guided thought form) in order to recreate the frequency and wave patterns under which a memory was first created. Which is why experts use mnemonic devices to encrypt memories.
