Three lunar distances?

Wake me up when a planet-killer is actually going to strike Earth.

Heh, I wonder who nicknamed it that. Slooh perhaps? They were looking for some assistance with that webcast earlier in the week. I got asked at one point, thought about participating using one of the iTelescopes in Australia, but honestly didn't really think it worth the little bit of observing time I've got left at the moment after my own asteroid hunt.

call me crazy, but I feel that the nickname "the beast" is a little off. It is not THAT big...

Could there be other meanings behind the reason for that name?

Too small and too far away for me to care.

Funny they name this the Beast. We also have something relating to the Beast coming up in June this month.

On the 17th of June this month would we 666th week since 9/11. On this day also is when we are given the warning that we could potentially start losing everything from the computer virus which would lock us out of our computer system. People could potentially start losing their money.

Anyway, just drawing your attention to what I found out.
