I must have missed the article by Hastings on this subject it seems to be quite interesting that it generated interest by the agency that specifically mentions Hastings and the article. Seems to be that there is more and more motive in relation to the death of Hastings. But I'm sure there will be something else that will justify or spin the topic.

As far as Bergdahl, he's a traitor to the country but I'm still trying to figure out why our government would trade 5 terrorists in Gitmo for a traitor... Was he infiltrating a group in Afghanistan and had his cover blown when the POTUS blew the cover of the head of the agency in that region? It seems interesting how this happened one week after the cover was blown by the POTUS...

The problem is... when we want the truth, the administration spins another psy-op to the public where no truth is told. It is truly disgusting the amount of good people that have been killed in the last few years to hide the lies of certain organizations that are clearly doing immoral acts and acts that are not necessarily in the best interest of the greater good of the whole. The above Rolling Stone article is a great read and gives really good background on Bergdahl and his family and why he reacted as he did when he was in Afghanistan. Basically the recruiters lied to him about what he would be doing in Afghanistan and Bowe was stubborn, raised to be an ethical independent thinker by his family. He and his family were very naive about the military, in my opinion. They are as much at fault as Bowe for how he came to be so naive.

To the left the ends justify the means. If some leftist strays off the plantation and the leftists in the government order that the strayee be taken out then the other leftists in the media are ok with that...

The Clancy connection is interesting, especially since he supposedly wrote fiction, but embedded himself with military/government units as much as possible. The man probably had more research on the real nature of things than all the hack msm "journalists" combined.

Michael Hastings was/is the son of a wealthy family in Los Angeles. The dad was a doctor and a medical researcher that was a big decision maker for what medical treatments would be accepted by not only LA but also the goings on of the Reagan administration that started in Sacramento California. That's how they got the money.

I think someone got to Hastings, much like the other guys who went crazy. The investigating group is sometimes looking for a window of opportunity for sabotage.

Jason Holmes was the son of a wealthy family in Simi Valley, a gifted neurosurgeon in training, and a mad scientist. An alternative theory is he got a shot of drugs, got hypnotized to hurt others, got caught in a daze, the rest is in court somewhere.

So who is doing this to a neurosurgeon in training and a son of a very intelligent medical doctor in Los Angeles County California? What do their dads have in common that they both have mysterious deaths?

Bergdahl is a red herring to try to focus on Bergdahl. The bigger question is, why is it that people who get investigated by the FBI die?

Michael Hastings had scheduled an interview with Barrett Brown, who had ties with the group Hactavist/Anonymous. With the current status of Brown, Assange , Wikileaks, and Manning there is a lingering question if Hastings death may have been related to this. Hastings was a member of ProjectPM, although some research suggests it might have been more so on paper.

I think it would have been awesome to read an article of Brown and Endgame(software the govt sold to be used internally against US companies) by Hastings and I wonder what the fallout and follow up by Hastings would have been. Sometimes if you simply change your perspective by 180 degrees you get a completely different picture.

I do believe what Elise Jordon, Hastings wife stated in the Piers Morgan interview after his death, that Michael always had at least 5 hot stories going on. She also stated that Michael didn't want to go after the "grunt in the field," and that there was "a huge disconnect between the ground forces and policy makers", which really makes me RETHINK the Bowe Bergdahl report. Jordon also stated his support of Wikileaks disclosures (Barrett Brown...?)

In summary, after reading sources, I believe Michael Hastings had much integrity. I can see that he may have had his own human issues as we all do. He may have had PTSD from the horrific death of his first love in Baghdad, or a disposition towards ADD with its pros and cons. In the end, he was defending and fighting our war to be set free. A war against our ongoing and ever increasing entrapment in our governments surveilance and even an openly stated domestic hit list.
