Report Copyright Violation | active-shooter-alert-issued-at-portsmouth-naval-medical-center [ link to wtkr.com] A service member was stabbed Friday morning near Naval Medical Center Portsmouth at Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads’ Portsmouth Annex. According to the Navy, the stabbing occurred in front of the installation’s Navy Exchange. A search is in progress for the suspect. He is described as a white male, approximately 165 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes, wearing tan cargo pants and a white shirt. A large police presence has gathered on I-264 at the Downtown Tunnel and it is believed to be related to the search. |
