Susan Rice - "He served with honor and distinction"
"But what I was referring to was the fact that this was a young man who volunteered to serve his country in uniform at a time of war. That, in and of itself, is a very honorable thing."

"This is a young man whose circumstances we are still going to learn about. He is, as all Americans, innocent until proven guilty."

"But in the meantime, let's remember this is a young man who volunteered to serve his country."

"And then let's know the facts including his side of the story, and then we can make a judgment."

Turn back the clock 4 1/2 years ago. What if all of these statements were said about Major Nidal Hasan on November 6, 2009? After all, aren't they just as true for him?

That's why Susan Rice's comments about Bowe Bergdahl are completely idiotic. Putting on a uniform doesn't make you a hero, it's what you do in that uniform that does.

Re: Susan Rice - "He served with honor and distinction"
And she said he was in good health
Someone else said he was urgently released for health problems.....never stated what kind of health problem.
