As a member of the ASA/RSS I have subscriptions to several journals and statistical magazines.
Significance is one of the magazines that I receive. Wikipedia has the following for
Significance:
Significance, established in 2004, is a bimonthly magazine published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of the Royal Statistical Society and the American Statistical Association.[1] It publishes articles on topics of statistical interest presented at a level suited for a general audience. It is not a research journal and articles are not peer reviewed.[2] [

Now, the articles that appear in
Significance are based off of peer-reviewed studies and are usually written by one the study's author.
The last issue was geared toward "Sustainability" and full of liberal propaganda. The theme of the newest issue is "Crime, Law and Order." The feature article for this issue is a based off of the work of Mark Guis's study of CCW laws and violent crimes.
In this article, Guis destroys, based on his previous research, the idea of "assault weapons bans" and looks at how states with restrictive CCW laws have statistically significant higher rates of gun related crime than those with more relaxed CCW laws.
Being as most of the readers are diehard liberals, I am sure the "Letters" section in the next issue will be good reading...

I thought I would share this little bit of information with my fellow morAns, as this may be relevant to your interests.
