For the first time in history Islamic prayers to be held at the Vatican....(Chrislam??)
For the first time in history, Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran will be heard at the Vatican on Sunday, in a move by Pope Francis to usher in peace between Israelis and Palestinians.

Francis issued the invitation to Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas during his visit last week to Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian Authority.

Abbas, Peres, and Francis will be joined by Jewish, Christian and Islamic religious leaders, a statement released by Peres’s spokesperson said, according to the Times of Israel.

Holy See officials on Friday said the evening prayers would be a “pause in politics” and had no political aim other than to rekindle the desire for Israeli-Palestinian peace at the political and popular level, according to the Associated Press.

This step on the exact date of Pentecost is very interesting, considering that Pentecost is the birthday of the church, the day the Holy Spirit fell on the believers and indwelt them. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit was poured out, and the promises of Jesus came true that day.

You all forgot that June 5-10 is the Anniversary of the six day war (this is where Israel CAPTURED all the land that they r about to give away perhaps this weekend???)

My opinion is that if anyone can get the two to sign a Peace Agreement, it would be the Pope??? Who says no to the pope???

70 years r determined, 2017 is the 70th year, count back 42 months (3 1/2 years), We come to June 2014???

Who cares? Three men pray to their "Father" spirit in the sky. Good for them. I don't think any of them are praying to the other's God. Would you prefer the Pope have the other two be burned at the stake like the old days ? Or the Pope and Jew beheaded as a few Muslims still do ? Three men practice freedom of religion with nobody getting killed ! This must stop !
