Yep. I wonder what made Jerry Lewis' comedy acting out as handicapped so acceptable in the 40's and 50's? Maybe we need another World War for people to lighten up a bit ??

Maybe Tracy needed a straight man alcoholic on his team ??

Of course we care! It's just that when a celebrity is involved, it makes the news. In fact, the person who died was in Tracy Morgan's vehicle!

If you read my post above, you will see how I feel about some of the tractor trailer drivers on the turnpike, who put any vehicle smaller than theirs in danger. It's happened to me many times.

The truck who hit their vehicle came upon traffic that slowed and the truck could not stop in time! This turnpike is one straight road...not one bend, not any hills. The trucks just go too fast! As I said before, the speed limit is reduced because of construction, but most of the trucks still go 65 mph. Cant wait till they have their separate lanes! I have a feeling that they will speed up the construction now. It seems like it's been going on forever, but it is a huge undertaking, and we were hit by a LONG winter.

I cannot imagine for the life of me why I should give a crap about some tv actor. Who cares? Seriously, who woke up and saw this news and cried out "oh no!!!!!!!!" ?

When I was a kid I used to think that my teachers lived at the school (maybe slept in the closet ... lol)until one day I saw one at the grocery store and realized ... hey she's just like my mom.

I suppose for the reason that some people feel admiration or some connection to people of notoriety, not just actors, but musicians, public figures etc.

I never heard of the comedian, but I still have empathy. You cannot imagine how many tractor trailers kill people on that roadway. One a year is too much, but there are more because there are some truck drivers who just don't care about any vehicle smaller than theirs. If you lived nearby, as I do, you would hear about these accidents frequently! Entire carloads of people dead because a truck ran into them.

I have one roadway to get to NYC and Newark Airport, and that's the turnpike. There's a joke in NJ when asking where you live. You give the exit number. It's either the turnpike or the Garden State Parkway. Both of these roads are heavily traveled, but the turnpike is heavy with 18 wheelers.

I swear...I never hear about cars. These turnpike accidents always involve trucks! Below is a partial list. I can't find the one where a carload of people were going southbound to a wedding and were rear-ended by a trailer. They died. It happened within the past two years.

I hope he pulls out of ICU. He plays dumb and ignorant for his act! I met him once and had a few minute conversation with him and he is very articulate and normal IRL. He came to the club i managed and needed somewhere to chill because the black club down the street was to rowdy and N-ish for him.

Comedy on a stage is a piece of art, you dont have to like the art but in our country we have the right to perform the art.

I hope he makes it through. Stupid SNL curse...

Just the most unfunny "comedian" who started out on Saturday Night Live, that you are lucky enough to not know.
About as funny as Jamie Foxx, and Al Franken.

He was taken to the hospital by care flight...that ain't good. When they bring the helo in on a highway accident...things were bad, really bad.
