Anonymous Coward User ID: 48367443 United States 06/09/2014 03:22 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Watch old movies. Quoting: Astral Goat Like from the 1930' s and 1940's... I was doing that last night. I like movies, it's tv shows, sports, and news that I'm sick of.... I missed out on most movies from 2002 to 2009 so I have those, really old movies and whatever new movies that are any good to watch now... For the most part though I'm spending way more time reading or on the Internet now. their are still good tv shows....reality tv is horrendus tho. |

Tv entertainment is truly a distraction/ or mind control mechanism for sure in my opinion. I know many of you already know this but tonight I join you all. Quoting: Everwayne I agree that TV is a distraction, but the quality of the programming really hasn't changed much. I enjoy TV a lot actually. When you know better not to just zombify yourself and soak it all in while thinking of nothing else, it doesn't serve as a distraction from real issues. I usually watch comedies though, 'cause I just want a cheap laugh. |

EVERY channel on cable seems to have some type of Reality/Drama shows. Quoting: Upheval For instance TLC which is suppose to be The Learning Channel has that Honey Boo Boo crap. I kid you not, every time that a commercial for that nonsense comes on I turn the TV off. I am pondering stopping my cable. My point is yes, you may think you understand what is happening but there is a great deal of information that completely negates your ability to resist the propaganda. It is similar to Marine boot camp you may understand what they are trying to do but you don't know just how effective it was until later. Broadcast TV will go away in the next 10 to 15 years. There won't be enough economic activity outside of New York and Washington to support it. There will just be a mish mash of cable only and satellite only outfits that will be too fucking expensive to have. Not only that... Professional sports in the US will also go away as well for the same reasons. |
