Hit a deer, called insurance for towing ....

Yesterday evening around 5:00 pm we 4 in our truck loaded down with camping equipment plus 3 small dogs are heading home going through mountains coming around a corner, just comming up on a road guard with a ledge to the right, a car in opposite traffic coming up on our left and a truck hugging our back where we couldn't slow very fast or he would had hit us and sent us either into the side of the mountain ledge or on coming traffic, the deer came with a leap from behind a bush took a leap, at this point we decided hit the deer going 55, total front damage we get half mile up to be able to pull over.
We call our insurance co we have roadside tow with them. Everything is good until we get to getting all 4 of us out of this mountain and 40 miles to the next city. They literally told me, we will get your truck with pets in it, and 2 passengers the other 2 will have to figure it out. OK so we have lived here ruffly 6 months, only know 2 reliable families, 1 was out of state working and thankfully the other family came through.
Anyhow things did turn out good but what if a out of state visitor not knowing anyone wow, there's bears,mountain lions, predator creatures. Know that I've complains. Be prepared if your hitting the road. Peace
