It is obviously the Moon. If you had any experience with Photography, you would understand....

If the sun was above the South Pole horizon, and if that fiery ball was dim, I could get along with "sundog" just fine, but that thing looks an awful lot like the sun, and there are no clouds around, the sky is clean, the sun bright is far to Southeast and there's absolutely no flare, glare or visible reflection.

It is obviously the Moon. If you had any experience with Photography, you would understand....

AND don't forget to figure out a plausible explanation on why your "moon" looks huge when it should look small at the South Pole and why there's a sunny-looking weather down there coinciding with that fiery object, when it's winter.

I see this nearly every day at sunset in the Pacific NW U.S. When the clouds get thin enough just for a moment, you can see a smaller bright sphere in the NW. And there's usually a dim glow coming from behind the clouds in the NE. I have absolutely no idea what it is, but it isn't lens flare, it's not a reflection, and it's not imaginary. It's there, and the fact that no meteorologists or astronomers even mention it makes it even more suspect.

They are caused by the moon's orbit around earth.

And when you look up at the sky during the day or during the night (depending on the moon cycle), the moon can be covered with a pencil eraser when you hold it arm's length from your eye.

If a planet/moon were to come within a range that it would appear larger than our current moon, or even close enough to be clearly seen, enormous waves would be washing major cities away every few hours in every nation across the globe.

And I haven't even touched upon earth's solar orbit and how this would be affected.

I know, logic wilts your doom woodies, but there it is.

Like I said I can get along with the Moon just fine, as long as you or anyone of your fellow shills provide at least ONE picture with an overexposed moon that looks EXACTLY like the object seen in the south pole.

I mean, not with some fuzzy blurred glint around, but with long filaments and structure similar to a solar corona, exactly like Neumayer's object.

Check the moon phase, its not full moon for another 5 days. Therefore this is not the moon.

Dude, stop. No one knows the distance of this other object because no astronomers will talk about it. It could be an object twice as large as the sun but farther away, making it appear smaller. Without discussion, we'll never know. News stations talk crap about celebrities and reality shows all day long, one would think that weird sunlike objects would at least make the news. The fact that they don't makes the silence deafening.

For the 459 time, I'll say it again, I'm not dismissing the Moon explanation, I'm just waiting someone explain:

1. how the fuck the Moon got a sun-like corona and the "overexposure" babble doesn't hold water without pictures of everexposed moons that look EXACTLY like that object in the south pole.

2. how come the Moon looks so fucking big in the south pole sky, when it should look small?

3. why the weather looks like summer in south pole in those Neumayer pictures, when it's winter in the south hemisphere?

I'm ready to accept the Moon explanation after these questions are answered with plausible answers, not with shill cliches.
