How can the Book of Revelation be taking place? Does it really take place in another dimension (e.g., the astral/mental plane) as some have said

The Book of Revelation is symbolic and not to be taken literally.

Hm, well...it took place among a distant desert goat shepherd
people, whose obscure deity never really had anything to do
with us. Nothing but brute military force ever spread his name
nor the pertaining scriptures effectively around here.

Bloody ridiculous, when you think about it.
As if Ukko or Odin were less real.
As if my people's own cultural heritage were lesser somehow.
As if any god ever worshiped by humans would be more real than
any other.



But to each his own, I guess.

Spiritual is not symbolic.

I wouldn't be so sure about that.

Revelation 8:9 And the third part of those creatures died, which had life in the sea, and the third part of the ships was destroyed.


Revelation 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea, and there came blood as it were of a dead man; and every living soul died in the sea.

Seems like the 2 preceding verses are in the process of being fulfilled today.

Millions of fish are suddenly dying all over the planet. In fact, there have been dozens of mass fish death events reported in the past month alone.

If 2 of the verses in Revelation are being fulfilled literally and NOT symbolically, there's a good chance that more will also come to pass in the same manner.

No its real, really happening. You can't see it because God only gives to man that which he can understand.
