Would it have been illegal for Malloy administration to fund Sandy Hook video game?

The gameplay is kinda bad, I like the graphic style though. But in the game I just feel like I'm pressing "play" rather than being the protagonist of the whole thing. It kind of failed for me in that part, it's hardly more interactive than a video.

Yep. That about sums it up for me, too.

Clearly, "The Slaying of Sandy Hook Elementary" is a Propaganda--er, Public Service Announcement.

...if you pay attention to the game, and its message, you`ll see that this is actually a thought experiment about the role of guns and violence in our society.

I would agree it's a thought experiment--but I don't know if it was so much about guns as it was about convincing hundreds of thousands of teenagers how Sandy Hook "happened," banking that their fantasy-addled minds would internalize the video game version of events, and their emotions as they experiene it, as reality.

At any rate--motive for the "game's" creation points clearly to the state of Connecticut, imho, so, would it in any way have been illegal for them to create this video? I really can't think of an immediate reason, but they would have had to pay for it somehow--that's the only bottleneck at which I could see, possibly, some kind of illegality.

If the state had a reasonable expectation of being sued, could this video (and paying for it) in any way be construed as an attempt to influence legislators, given that during this entire timeframe, chimp victim Charla Nash was appealing to legislators to create a legal way to circumvent the Claims Commissioner?

Would it go towards illegality if the video misrepresented the crimes committed at Sandy Hook School, in ways known to the administrative offices paying for the video (i.e. would it matter if they could be shown to be purposely misrepresenting the facts, via the video)?

Where did the audio fx come from--were they purchased?

Is there anything in the game that indicates knowledge which had not yet been released to the public?

Here's one link to it - I don't know the version history, but it would be very important to find the first version released:

Just another branding for the urban legend.....to continue to imprint the minds of the unaware.

May well be--but this one might bear some fingerprints.

Is anyone here familiar with the game's (alleged) creator?

Does the artwork match his earlier games, for example?
