Jesus said there are only two commandments: love your neighbor and love god. Note: he did not include following him as a prerequisite.

Rev 3 says they call themselves Jews. I think only Catholics believe they have replaced the Jews as God's chosen people. Also Messianic Jews don't call themselves "Christians".

I am a proud non-Christian that does not recognize the power of the Abrahamic god. There is no room in my paradigm for a tyrannical demon that feels the need to micromanage the lives of every single human being on this planet. You clearly do not understand the power of will and paradigm. We all decide what happens to us after death and many have chosen slavery. I am free to sin, indulge in list, indulge in all manner of things that the book of slave codes forbids. Anyone who gives up their power to a god is a fool and deserves exactly what is coming to them after they die. They think that they will be rewarded? Slaves are not rewarded, they are made to think that they are being given merit, when in fact they are merely given chains of a more precious metal.

From the following verses, you will see that by keeping God's commandments we show our love to Him and if we say we know God and keep not His commandments we are liars and the truth is not in us.

In Conclusion
If we do His commandments, we will have right to the tree of life. People can confuse Revelation 22:14 (see below) with works, but it is pure and simple obedience. It doesn't take anything away from being saved by grace. Obedience and faith and works are the fruits of our conversion. It is an outward sign of our inward heart condition. God will accept nothing less, if you believe He will, you are only fooling yourself. Its really not that complicated, its only when we try to get to heaven on our own terms and go contrary to the Bible that we make it complicated.
We are saved by grace, not by works of the law. "Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin." Romans 3:20. The experience of salvation by grace, however, results in obedience to God's law. Works of faith demonstrate that Christ's grace is operating in the life to bring us into accord with the righteous principles of His law. We are judged by the law, the great standard of righteousness because Christ's grace has been made available as the power to obey it. Our works are judged because grace makes possible works that are acceptable to God.

Obedience is a sign of our love for God and our willingness to render Him true worship. "If ye love me, keep my commandments." John 14:15. Obedience through the power of the Holy Spirit is not legalism. "And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us." 1 John 3:24.

"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." Revelation 22:14.

If you claim to be a Christian then you are a Jew. I cannot reitterate it any more. Paul says you are not a Jew on the outside but one on the inside, of the spirit. If you believe the Jewish Messiah, Jesus, then by proxy you believe in the Old Covenant and that which is written in the Tanakh.

And to the one(s)who say you are saved by grace, yes indeed you are saved by grace, but this does not mean you can continue in sin. I indeed am overcoming this very same struggle in my own experience, from Jesus revealing to me I am his son and entering into his most wonderful, indescribable grace, to going back to sin thinking it is ok, to being torn spiritually, to coming back to reason.

Jesus did not save the Israelites from Egypt because they had the law but he did, however, save them by grace, but THEN he gave them the law. IF YOU LOVE ME YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.

A Gentile (non-Jew) woman asked Jesus if he would have mercy on her and heal her daughter. Jesus ignored her but she persisted even to annoying Jesus' disciples who asked Jesus to deal with her! So Jesus said, and here is the analogy, It is not right to throw the children's food to the dogs. Here, Jesus is saying 'I am the food, the children are of the house of Israel, the dogs are the Gentiles who do not know God'. And the Gentile woman replies, But even the crumbs fall off the master's table and are eaten by the dogs. What she is wise enough to understand she replied saying, 'Even your culture will spill out and be adopted into even into our culture - SO HEAL MY DAUGHTER! For her wise answer Jesus healed the woman's daughter (who was at home afar off). So this non-Jewish woman believed in Jesus though she was not under the law.

So then what will Jesus do when he finds wolves have been trotting around in sheep's clothing and decieving his flock saying it's ok to sin, to not remember or keep the Sabbath? He will tell them to DEPART FROM HIM, YOU WHO ARE WITHOUT THE HOLY LAWS, and he will cast them into outer darkness where they will desire to see his face but will not, at least for some long time, day and night without rest (at least 1,000 years to repent).

KEEP ALL THE COMANDMENTS - OLDER AND NEWER, and REMEMBER THE SABBATH AND KEEP IT HOLY. Amen.
