Re: I just watched a "star" turn off.
About a year ago I was at my computer in the late evening and felt this urge to go outside and look up into the sky. I saw this satellite like object moving slowly South to North. I thought 'Ooh look a satellite!'. But as I watched it, it changed direction at least twice, slowed down, speed up, then faded from view. My perception was that it was VERY high up.

Re: I just watched a "star" turn off.
saw 3 of these tonight, all different times and angles frign unreal.

they are NOT stars, they are NOT satellites and they are NOT planes

also see were many unidentified objects similar to one that was refueling or sitting next to the sun for several hours.

to be honest, they looked like giant-shaped tadpoles flying above

I have no idea wtf is going on in the sky or if it's some kind of holographic exercise. if not, then wtf

Occultation by a cloaked space craft, perhaps, or some other object. I've seen similar phenomena. Stars moving around etc. It is strange. And I know what artificial satellites look like. See them frequently.

I've seen this phenomenon numerous times when I was a kid, growing up, and now currently as an adult, I even saw it after I came down from a mushroom trip.

Edit to add: It's always happened where I randomly look up exactly where it is at, and I see it happen. Then I am left perplexed, and I take it as a sign only I should understand.

The reason I share this is because you described it perfectly.. "They" want you to see them. It is like a reminder to me... That I am here for a reason.

But it's on a wholeee different level of communication. I like it

I've seen moving satellites that were reflecting sunlight yet dim out as they moved across the sky. Those are neat. Then there are those stars that get brighter as if they are coming closer. Turns out they are coming closer, light on a helicopter as it is coming in your direction. After several minutes it changes direction & you realize it has to be that.

Not random here. I have been watching identified and unidentified objects for several years and nights when I go watch, it's for hours and with friends or doubters. The doubters then question reality thereafter of course, like a deer in headlights.

The fascinating thing about my experience was how bright the object was. If you took the star Vega and placed it next to Mars, that is what it looked like.

That is why I immediately thought it was the ISS. So I'm watching it expecting it to pull away from Mars, but it never moved. And then it slowly faded completely out after about 15 seconds.

As I said earlier, I've been involved with astronomy for decades.

The feeble attempts by others to discredit me make me laugh.

Re: I just watched a "star" turn off.
OP I saw the exact same thing you did one night when I went outside to take a piss. I thought I was looking at the north star in the sky when I realized that what I was really looking at was not the north star. I looked over to the side and saw what was REALLY the north star and as soon as I looked at the other "star" I was looking at for 10 minutes it suddenly shot off into a cloud and camouflaged itself within it and I could no longer see it. I almost sensed that it realized that I was looking at it and as soon as I had that realization of what it really was it darted off at thousands of MPH. I just stood there laughing dick in hand as I pissed. There are just some things you cannot explainwhatever

I can never understand why observations of moving "stars", seen by so many, still troubles others.

It would appear they are frightened by it for some reason.

It happens. Get over it.

It's cool to watch one appear too. Especially watching the "birth" of a star that has already been there.

Yep. I've seen a star appear that wasn't there on a super clear night. Like it just turned on.

I looked out an upstairs window yesterday and noticed a star mid afternoon. Shocked I grabbed the binoculars and it was a white balloon. After it got to a certain point, it ripped and floated like a fold in space.
