I posted it at the time it happened, a little over a year ago, but I feel it is time to post it again.
My father and I were speaking about the world situation and how the existence of nuclear weapons in so many nations is so dangerous. My father was worried and said that this situation was , to say the least, unfair, that so many people should have their life pending on a string because of the existence of these diabolical weapons, no matter who has them.
He was sad and worried.
A couple of days later we were in town and my father decided to wait for us sitting in the park on a bench.
What happened was the following, according to his recount of it.
While he was sitting on this bench a very tall elderly man, very elegant, sort of nordic in appearance came up to him, and with a friendly smile asked politely if he could share the bench with my father. My father answered that of course. This man then sat next to my dad , and slowely turned round to look at him, smiling gently, and out of the blue he said to my father ' You know, you shouldn't worry about nuclear war or anything like that happening, you see God will not allow it. He will prevent it happening. He will use His creation Nature, to prevent it happening. So don't worry', and smiling he said good bye and left.
I believe this man was an Angel. And for some reason God saw fit to tell my father not to worry about this because He will not allow nuclear war, thet He will use Nature to prevent this.
Why did he tell my father? I don't know, we are just normal people. But maybe God wanted me to convey the message recieved through my father to people, so that is why I am writing this here on GLP.
How He will use Nature to prevent this? Your guess is as good as mine, but I don't doubt that He will. |

A lovely thought, but naiive.
This series of mishaps may yet yield a winner and if not, it's got my attention. NK is not the only regime that wants our hide and one day a cabal of rogue nations will achieve their goal.
I believe that as always the Lord will use other nations to punish His own people. |

OP,
A comforting message, to say the least, and I for one would like to believe it happened as you, and you father, say it was so.
That said, I will accept this message as truth and ask that my own daily experience may bring me into contact with the same type of being for further validation and faith in such protection of God's love for us.
If I may, I did receive a message, over 10 years ago, that was left on my answering machine. Long story short, it said, "You are living in God's house... you are protected by God!"
There is more to the story, but that was the main message and then they hung up.

I think it's possible angels can make just such appearances. Don't know if that's what your dad encountered, but certainly an interesting topic to come up out of the blue.
I have heard that if/when nukes are fired, THAT is the point God will intervene in men's affairs with The Warning Experience. In other words, God will not permit man to destroy himself without giving an undeniable spiritual warning. (Which isn't to say God won't let nature have her way with us, unfortunately).
I think we are at the beginning of things getting really interesting, so much so that people who don't normally pay attention to current events will be compelled to look at what's going on.
Reality TV may be replaced by Reality.  |

I too feel that nuclear weapons will not be allowed to deploy. But - if someone does get the idea, I think Nature will then - possible scenario's - a massive volcano that will cause havoc worldwide; glacier in Greenland falls into the ocean causing water levels to rise all along the coasts; ???
I think it will be Nature's way of saying "there are worse things that nuclear, here's just a reminder..." |

I had several visions of the world in around 2015. I saw city scapes with vastly fewer people in them. Almost no cars. Trains for transportaion. Cities themselves seemed intact. |

God did not prevent Auschwitz-Birkenau. He did not prevent Chelmno, Belzec, Sobibor, Treblinka, Majdanek, nor Maly Trostinez. God did not prevent Hiroshima and Nagasaki. God is not about to prevent anything. Man himself is about to take responsibility for his brothers and sisters. It is man and man alone who can prevent nuclear attacks. Naive infants believe God will prevent an nuclear war. But God won't! Man will. At least, he is able to. |
