Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58616492 But wepubwicans always tell me tax cut mean mo jobs Dude...give it up and we all know you have an agenda...geez...you are actually preaching paying more taxes...get a clue. Most of us are taxed out and it's already too high. The ONLY people saying pay more are the ones that are not working or have low paying jobs and therefore don't pay all that much. Get a clue and get off the gov. tit. Not preaching higher taxes at all. Just showing that the idea behind lower taxes equating to job growth is nonsensical. Libs parrot the idea that consumer demand drives job growth. I'm not saying that isn't true. Lets say it is true. Higher taxes equate to less disposable income. Less money for consumers to spend, less demand. Q1 of this year we had negative GDP growth, not factoring in inflation. This negative growth was blamed on weather yet it also coincided with the March 31st deadline to enroll in Barrycare. If people are spending disposable income on mandated Barrycare, this equates into fewer dollars available to spend on other consumer goods. Tax revenues also had significant expansion. What kind of GPD growth do you think we would have seen had Barry not gutted portions of his own law in terms of timing for implementation? Higher taxes, gov mandates on where consumers must spend, remove discretionary dollars available to consumers. For this example, we will pretend there is no inflation. Which of course is laughable. Let's see what job growth, GDP growth, look like when the full wrath of Barrycare arrives in conjunction with higher taxes, escalating inflation....... Cheers |
