This information is completely, totally and utterly false. Anyone with a High School Civics class education knows that not a single Justice on the Supreme Court EVER "signs-off" on ANY arrest Warrants whatsoever. That's not how the legal system works.

Lets do a quick basic civics lesson here:

1) The United States federal government is made up of three Branches:
A) Legislative (Congress i.e. The House and Senate)
b) Executive (President, Vice President and all alphabet agencies)
c) Judicial (US District Courts, Courts of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

2)Those three branches of government are "separate but equal." They each have a different function:
A) Legislative (Congress) MAKES the law
b) Executive (President etc) ENFORCES the law
c) Judicial (Courts named above) INTERPRETS the law.

In order for anyone to be arrested, a law enforcement officer must either personally Witness a crime committed in his presence, or have an Arrest Warrant signed by a Judge.

In Order to get an arrest warrant signed by a Judge, a law enforcement officer must swear out a Complaint and bring it to his Superior Officer for approval to take it to a federal Judge. All such Complaints must be approved by superiors in the law enforcement agency before the officer can ask a Judge for a Warrant. If the Officer fails or refuses to get approval, he gets suspended or fired. Further, NO superior in ANY federal law enforcement agency would EVER approve an application to arrest a sitting president. Here's why:


ALL law enforcement Officers at the federal level derive their power from and through the EXECUTIVE Branch; i.e. The President. Thus, a law enforcement officer cannot arrest the very source of his arrest power because, as President, Obama can either fire any officer who attempts such an arrest (they ALL technically work for him), or Obama can Pardon himself on the spot.

So get it through your head: A sitting President cannot be arrested. Ever. Period. End of story.

If anyone cares, the Warrant process then goes like this:
The federal law enforcement agent swears out a Complaint, gets it approved by his Superiors and takes it to a federal Magistrate. Magistrates are the spokes-in-the-wheel of the federal Judiciary, taking on the majority of day-to-day "grunt" work in the federal courts. Just because a federal agent takes a complaint to a Magistrate, does NOT mean the Magistrate would sign-off on an arrest Warrant. You can bet that none of them would DARE do so against a sitting President because each Magistrate knows the President is "separate but equal to" the Judiciary. It would create an instant Constitutional Crisis.

So that's another "stop" which wrecks any effort to see an arrest warrant issued for a President.

For us regular folk, if the Magistrate signs-off on an arrest warrant, the federal agent goes out to make the arrest. The person is taken into custody, brought before a Magistrate Judge, informed of the charge against him and of his legal rights. A plea is entered, usually NOT GUILTY. Bail is (or is not) set.

Next stop, U.S. District Court for criminal trial.

If he wins, case over. If he loses, he can Appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for whichever "Circuit" covers the state within which he was arrested.

If the Appeal is successful, he wins, case over. If not, he can TRY to be heard at the United States Supreme Court, but he has no "right" to be heard there.

At that level, the SUPREME COURT decides which cases it will hear. There is no "right" to be heard at the Supreme Court, one must APPLY to be heard. They get about eleven-thousand (11,000) such applications each year and only approve about one-hundred (100).

So please cut the bullshit about Chief Justice Roberts signing off on an arrest warrant for Obama. It cannot happen.

The only way a law-breaking President can be removed other than by an election, is through Impeachment in the House of Representatives. If a Majority of the House votes to Impeach (must be for "high crimes and misdemeanors") then a trial is held in the US Senate. If a majority of Senators votes "Guilty" the President is-- at that very micro-second -- no longer President. Only at that time, is he back to being a regular citizen and only THEN can he be arrested.


It pisses me off to no end that so many people are completely ignorant of how their own system works. Where the hell did you get educated? You should go back and sue them for malpractice! They failed to educate you.

One more thing, INTERPOL has NO ARREST POWER. It is merely an organization of duly-constituted police agencies around the world and exists SOLELY to share information about who is "Wanted" and why. INTERPOL cannot arrest anyone. See, another failure of your education. My God, how can so many people be so utterly ignorant of the real world?
