I call it narcissism-book. Not as catchy a name as Facebook but a lot more accurate.

*look at all my nice stuff I have! look how much better looking my kids are, look at my house, my vacations are better than yours! I have more friends than you! look how much more fun I have than you! etc etc..*

Seriously, fuck Facebook

post what you want to be public on FB. i dont post much outside of a friend group of xbox live friends. i keep my settings safe and anyone can get more info on me with a credit card and a search site.

remember snail mail is for important stuff. lot more secure
using it to be up with my friends life is great. i block all the game requests so i never have them, i have blocked everything that i dont want to see.

if someone is not worth being friends with delete them. i dont argue on facebook.

oh yea i dont own a smartphone anymore and this helps keep my privacy alot simpler.

dont be afraid of the net; know where the boundries exist and use them to your personal advantage whatever that may be for you. just understand that everything is public.
