Hailstorm Leaves Piles of Ice in Tokyo

Yep, it was freaky. I was afraid my windows were going to crack. I looked a the hailstones after and a lot of them had this weird spiral pattern.

A NSW coastal town was left covered in a blanket of white after a freak hail storm transformed the area into a winter wonderland.

Forster, on the mid north coast of NSW, was hit with mass amounts of hail at 3pm on Saturday.

Streets of the beachside town were covered in 10-15cm of ice as the severe storm cell passed through leaving hail the size of golf balls.

When I was younger was in a metal building in a hail storm very unnerving

Who knows? I have seen hale a few times in my life but this was really extreme. Also, it's HOT now, hot sticky summer weather. The last thing I expected was ice.

There is probably a natural explanation but this is a conspiracy site so why not entertain all possibilities?

This happened because of Fukushima,

And normal for Japan according to my father in Law
who is farming Mikan since Childhood!

We have huge Temp Differences in the Summer,
yesterday it was not that hot but very humid,
the upper Atmosphere showed more than Minus 35 Celsius!

Japanese must name things carefully.when you name something fuk u than it is bound to screw u in the end!so it was unwise name choice on japanese side.

I don't recall ever seeing strong hail like this in Tokyo for over thirty years. Maybe from time to time, but I wouldn't call it common around here.

But I agree, it's probably natural. Weather is a very strange thing.
