How should I convince my friend that his niece isn't really dead? Any advice for another friend who was a first responder? No children died? My friends whose niece was murdered should be quite relieved to know they've apparently misconstrued a drill for a mass murder.

we're talking less than one-millionth of 1%.
yet in every comment thread somebody just so happens to know someone who died at the school. the odds are astronomically ridiculous.
these comments make the incident even more suspicious. the odds that this many random people knew a grandchild, niece, nephew, cousin, uncle or whoever involved in SH is beyond absurd. SH is a small dinky town not NYC on 9/11.
Nobody claims knows anybody who experienced another small town shooting like Arapahoe. these claims of knowing one of the SH children, providing no factual proof, stick out like a sore thumb. math & logic does not lie.
